"When we returned from vacation, the sump pump had failed, causing a mess in our mechanical room. We obtained the services of 7247 through Angi, and the response was swift. Lee Williams arrived, immediately identified the problem, took measures to secure a new pump, and installed it late in the evening. We were so grateful that he completed the replacement the same night."

"We've used Constantly Running for plumbing issues such as fixture replacements and pipe leaks and have been very satisfied with work performed by James Russell, proprietor, and his staff.  We'd had them out to install a new garbage disposal and snake a slow bathtub drain.  While cleaning out the drain James discovered that there was a small hole in the drain pipe that had been covered by accumulations of debris that once removed, allowed water to drain through the hole onto the ceiling of the room below.  In conversations about the state of the bathroom in general, we'd mentioned that it was our intention at some point to have the bathroom renovated. They had to return to replace the defective portion of drain pipe and repair the ceiling of the room below and while they were working, James offered to renovate the bathroom at a price that sounded eminently reasonable.  I wasn't aware that this was a service he offered, but since we've always been impressed with his work, we decided to go ahead with the project.  At first glance if looked straight-forward, in term of removing old wall and floor tile and replacing it, as well as the tub enclosure and the vanity.  It turned out to be a larger project, as the all the walls and flooring need to be taken down to the wood frame.  The walls and flooring were replaced, and new tiles, fixtures and paint that we had chosen and purchased were installed.  The craftmanship was exemplary.  James and his staff were totally competent, eminently courteous and friendly, and the job was done in a timely manner.  The renovation turned out better than we had ever thought possible, and we are very happy to have been able to work with him, and hope to do so again with another bathroom.

"I purchased the Big Deal for AABCO's installation of a new garbage disposal, testing/inspecting the drain line for obstructions, and an impressive warranty (5 yrs/2 yrs parts and labor) on the new disposal unit. Upon contacting AABCO on a Friday afternoon, inquiring about when someone might be able to come out and replace the disposal unit (having mentioned that the kitchen sink wasn't draining properly either - perhaps due to the utterly dead unit, or perhaps another issue), Mr. Gaskins promptly offered me a 9 am appt. the next morning - a Saturday, at no extra charge!
Mr. Gaskins was prompt, thoroughly professional, clearly experienced, and most gracious. He quickly and efficiently removed the old unit, inspected the drain line for any other obstructions, and quickly determined that the rusted unit was the sole reason for the slow drain. Then, despite very little room to maneuver under the kitchen sink cabinet (and very tight pipe connections), he expertly installed the new unit, tested it to make sure it was working properly, and even stayed a few more minutes to make sure that the drain was draining properly after I started the dishwasher. Thanks to his coming to the job well-prepared for any possible complications, he was able to quickly replace a worn, tight plastic connection that snapped (during installation), with a new piece that he had stocked on his truck - and most graciously replaced it free of charge. He took great care to ensure my home stayed clean at literally every step - donning shoe covers at the entryway, bringing towels and a bucket with him to catch any drips, and taking the old disposal unit away with him when he left. Mr. Gaskins was utterly professional, personable, honest, and gracious. I would gladly call him again for any plumbing needs that may arise in the future. I have already recommended him to my neighbors!

Jordan informed me before hand that he would have to cut out some drywall but I would have to get someone else to repair the hole -anxious to get the repair done so I said ok. However, this meant I had to pay out more money in addition to the 1,374.00 to replace drywall. Also replaced knob & a bit of pipe for water heater. Portion of receipt and photos included. "I really like this guy.  Most companies would not take the time out to really take that extra step and see what’s really gone wrong.  Every time I call this guy with a problem, he rushes out to take care of us.  I can’t say enough about him.  We didn’t have to pay him anything because it was under warranty.  Even though he knew he wasn’t going to get paid for the service, he came right out and that’s what impressed me.  He’s just amazing in general.  We had a problem with drain flies last time and we couldn’t figure out what was wrong.  So we had one plumber come out and he just said that we needed to call him again.  We did that and they came back.  They told us that it was a drain fly that is usually associated with the toilets.  We called a plumber and then another guy came out, and he didn’t see anything wrong.  The guy from Pressley Plumbing noticed that there was a crack in our pipe and he found that out down in the basement where the hole was.  He had already worked on that and the pipe had cracked open on the inside of the house.  Then he came and figured out that there was a root that had actually grown into the pipe on the outside of our house.  He showed everything to us through a video.  It was pretty bad and he set it up, so that we didn’t have to worry about anything.  He really took care of things and made sure that everything was replaced on our walkway.  He replaced all of the dirt and he called the right people to take care of the line.  He took care of everything.  He also called the county to see if they could cover any part of the cost.  He also called the insurance to see if they could cover the cost.  We didn’t have a lot of money and he really worked with us on all avenues.  So that’s why we called him back again when our water heater broke.  He’s just a really good guy.  He has consistently delivered for us.  He comes in and respects the property.  He’s always on time and he makes sure he’s clean.  If he’s not on time he will call.  He’s really good at what he does and he’s very honest.  We will use his services again in the future."

"We were restoring a rental property after a tenant move-out and contacted Unbelievable American Restoration Services for air duct cleaning and tobacco odor removal.  This was our first time using this company and we were very impressed.  Their service was very professional, timely, and a great value for the services rendered.  They arrived on time, advised us on what services they were going to perform, and explained the process.  They were very efficient, very knowledgeable, and did an awesome job!  The customer service was great and they do aim to please!  We do value a professional service and have definite plans to use Unbelievable American Restoration Services in the future, and highly recommend them to others seeking home restoration services.

"Kelly and his installers worked very hard to install a Trane A/c system in my house. The job took longer than planned because they mainly install ruud a/c''s which because of the number they install, they know much better than Trane; but I insisted on Trane. Kelly stuck at it until they got it right. I really appreciated their dedication to the job. I have a lot of confidence in them and I'd hire them again."

"I saw a water spot on the ceiling of main floor. I suspect it is from the bathroom of master bedroom, and I removed toilet. Matt found the small crack on the flange of toilet. He give me a price to fix it and also suggest me I can use epoxy to fix it. He check the whole home plumbing, and replace the worn of flapper of two toilets. When he came in, he always wear a shoe cover. The whole process is very smooth and he did a good job.

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Marbury, MD

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
