"Received several quotes for a new roof on my mother's house and Apek was almost 50% less than the others and the materials and quality of the work was perfect. Old roof's shingles on back of house were designed to bend 90 degrees to provide complete weather protection and this was stated by site supervisor, Jesus, before installation. The new shingles did not bend but a solution was recommended but declined due to financial reasons. The roof started a small leak after the big wind/rain storm in August but only as long as the storm continued, so it decided to wait and see if it would leak again after next big storm. During last weeks storm it did leak a little in the same place and we called Apek. All of my concerns were addressed quickly and Jesus contacted me within 12 hours of being given my information. He had taken notes, pictures and done evaluations at the initial installation and knew exactly where the problem most likely occurred even before arriving. Jesus remembered that money was the deciding factor in why my mother did not get the metal flashing installed and graciously and unexpectedly offered to preform the installation free of charge. My impression of Apek is all positive and will recommend them to anybody in need of the services they provide."

"Our bathroom light switch broke and had been meaning to fix it but always put it aside. Until our lights were flickering too much that I thought it was due to the bathroom light switch. I called on Huntley Electric and once again was able same day service. David, the owner of Huntley Electric, came and fixed the switch. He also noticed that I was cleaning the bathroom air fan and he assisted in helping me with the cleaning at no extra cost. When he was done, I told him about the flickering lights and he only had about 45 min to look into it as his wife was expecting him for dinner. Long story short, he looking into several areas of the house to pinpoint issues...he found an ill connected switch that gave light to the entry hall way, yet, the flickering lights continued and after 2hrs and well past his 45 min allotment, he discovered the issue. He rewired electrical cables in our second fuse box and that immediately solved the flickering light issue. David went above and beyond the call of duty. He noticed that the flickering light issue was really more than a nuisance but a potential fire hazard. All that investigation, opening up light boxes and going up and down the stairs fixing an electrical issue that he found in the midst of his investigation and he only charged me $200. Huntley Electric does honest to goodness work. I'm referring him to my family and friends. His local and a family man. With two jobs already performed to satisfaction, this guy is a keeper!"

"I needed 17 windows replaced and installed in an apartment unit. I contacted Todor to get an estimate on just the installation since I had already purchased the windows. He gave me a very fair price and we set up a time for him to come out, pick up the windows and install. I also had to coordinate the schedule with my tenant in order for this to happen smoothly so he gave me some possible dates he was able to come by and do the installation weather permitting. This was a 2 day job - the first day, Todor and his crew removed all the existing original windows and installed them. We also discussed making sure all the windows were properly insulated with foam as well as aluminum capping on the outside. During the installation, we found that the 3 of the lintels were badly rusted and needed attention. He explained to me most window installs are done incorrectly and that typically the lintels are covered with aluminum which hold the water and accelerates the rust process since there's no where for the water to go. He was able to repair the lintels for a reasonable cost and said they were still in decent shape and didn't need to be replaced. Everything else went as planned. The windows look and work great. My tenant was very complimentary about his professionalism and cleanliness and I am happy with the final product. I worked with Todor last year on my own house and have nothing but excellent things to say about him. He is honest, knowledgable, easy to work with and takes pride in his work. I would most definitely recommend Todor and his crew for exterior work. I have already gotten an estimate from him to perform siding work and plan to start that project in the fall. <br />"
