Mid state basement systems had the best and most fair pricing. They did not use any scare tactics and were upfront and honest. They were also the only company to use a laser level and show me the sag difference in my joists that I was experiencing. I hired mid-state basement systems to do crawl space support and repair on my load bearing wall in my basement. MY PROBLEM WAS UNIQUE AS LOAD BEARING WALLS NORMALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED LIKE THIS! At first, it was not level upon completion (BARELY 1/8 INCH OFF) in ONE spot and I let my sales rep Jiovanni know. the team came back out within 48 hrs and adjusted everything and let me take a look at it. They did a fantastic job. The installation crew even wiped down my floors for me after they were done! They were so polite, and respectful and made sure there was no damage to anything as they were moving steel beams to my basement ( my fridge was an object in the way to the basement door ) Do not let competitors make you question the validity of this business. they were fantastic. Rating of sales 5/5 Rating of the installation crew 5/5 Rating of management 5/5 Rating of mid-state as a company : 10/5 I do not believe I would have received this level of responsiveness of any of the competitors. I would choose mid-state basements for any basement project I had. Please use my review to know that mid-state basement systems will do the job the right way and how you need it to be done. In my experience, they offer the most fair pricing."

"Xcellent came out and installed the new drains for our downspouts and sump pump. They cleaned up the yard and removed all the flags marking different systems that are in the yard. They are a very professional company and the prices were very reasonable!"

"Mr Plumber Josh arrived, we talked about the problem. He told me how much the job would cost. It was high at $202.94 but I told him it needed to be done. He went to his van for appropriate tools, cleaned the drain, snaked the pipe, cleaned up. I paid him and he left, job completed in about 1/2 hour. I see ads on tv (channel 10tv) all the time for drain cleaning at $95.00. The company runs this ad constantly on tv YET I was not offered nor told this was the amount I'd be charged. This struck me odd that I was charged then as much as I was. My work was done on a Thursday. The immediate Monday morning there was the same ad for $95.00. I immediately called Mr Rooter Plumbing to ask why I paid $202 when they advertise same job at $95.00. I was finally put in touch with a gentleman (Mark) at the company who told me it was up to me to MENTION their ad that runs all the time on tv. They do not offer it. Bottom line, he is refunding me the difference as he said my job was a $95.00 job. I told him I appreciated the refund and that I'd be watching for their refund check to get to me in the mail. Word to the wise here - if you choose to use this company for drain cleaning, MENTION THE $95.00 AD that they RUN ON TV. My point, if this is the price they CONSISTANTLY advertise, it is my opinion that THEY NEED TO HONOR IT without forcing the consumer to mention it."

"After remedying a broken pipe in the basement (see separate review), the Eco Plumber staff also discovered additional water seepage on our foundation walls. They scoped our outside drains and found that they were completely blocked. They also discovered that the drain that ran off of our backyard porch was only run 10 feet from the house (and not attached to the other parts of our drainage system). We decided to have all new lines installed, as well as connecting the back porch drain to the rest of the system, and had a new sump pump installed (as it turned out, our super old sump pump had no back-up battery and almost never ran anyway because it was set way too high over the drainage compartment). It was a costly job, but the basement is now very dry. Also, installed clean-outs on the downspouts so that we can unblock a drain anytime we have a blockage in the future (hopefully not needed but nice to have!). And whenever it rains, it's gratifying to see the large amounts of water spilling out of the drainage system and into the runoff gully in front of our house! The crew was very professional, did a very nice job taking up the turf and then returning it whole over the trench site. One final note: very impressive that the owner came out to inspect the site, taking pictures in part because of the great job his crew had done."

"Two years ago I started working on this project. Found companies and called. Only one person called back. Got frustrated and quit. The yard and shed just kept getting flooded every time it rained. So I decided to try again to find a company who could fix my drainage problem. Got on Angie List/Homeadvisor for recommendations. KVB called and set up to come out. They were wonderful to work with from the very beginning. Got back within the week with an assessment. Got 3 assessments KVB was the best. Contracted with them. As soon as the weather broke they were out. Gene did an excellent job and even helped with digging a small pool for me. If you need an excavator this is the company to use. They are the best. I feel so lucky to have found them. I highly refer them. They certainly are a + 5."

"Overall, we are not convinced that this installation was worth the cost or disruption and the experience did not meet the expectations we had based on our conversations with the sales rep. While an interior waterproofing system made a lot of sense to address our issues, once work started, it was clear that our house already had an underdrain system in place, but the crew continued demolition and installation. As part of the work, Stay Dry required replacement of our one-year-old sump pump (and battery backup) with their system and charged extra for the battery backup. The crew worked quickly, but caused some unnecessary damage to our finished basement walls and the concrete finish was less smooth than expected. The third star is provided for the follow-up visit by their customer service team to clean up some of those shortcomings."
