"We decided to install an outdoor kitchen and needed a solid base. The crew created a large concrete slab that measured around 400 sq. ft. They first excavated, installed a compacted gravel base, and added rebar before framing everything out. Drainage slope was included so water doesn't pool, and they ensured utilities could run through conduit before the pour. The slab was finished with a smooth surface since it will later be tiled. Permits were pulled in advance, and city inspectors signed off at every stage. The process took a few weeks, and the space is now ready for the kitchen installation. The precision in layout and attention to detail stood out to me. It feels like we've got a reliable foundation for years of outdoor use."

The entire remodeling took more than 3 months (due to COVID) and it included all the paperwork and permits. "Dee is fantastic! We loved the design Mike came up with for our backyard makeover. Then once construction started we realized we had made choices that needed to be changed. In every case Dee's suggestions (stucco the walls instead of paint, don't use DG next to the pool, run wood fence topper horizontally) turned out to the best. We are so glad we listened to him. Our finished backyard looks like an art installation but one where you can feel comfortable and at home.
