Well, my husband and I go to bed quit early (seniors), and I think the service started around 9 pm.  Once he got started and finished he did a great job!!  He was on time 9 pm and did a thorough job but we was so sleepy we didn't test until the next day.

We have young adult children, so we were very patient and was proud that young adults take their work so serious no matter what time it is, our children are his age.

He was a young man, so I guess when we all are young we can stay up late.

Again, he was polite and knew exactly what the problem was.  We rate him an A.

"I had a company come in and clean my dryer duct/vent in February of 2015.  When I began having problems with my clothes taking a long time to dry, I thought it was an issue with the dryer.  I called my home warranty company and the appliance technician that came out said the dryer was fine, did a cursory review and stated the ducts were clogged.  I contacted Pope's and they came out the following day.  The technician that came out was excellent!!!!  He tried to unclog the duct but there was no air coming out.  He did a very thorough inspection and found that the duct was actually disconnected as a result of the previous cleaning.  Identifying the problem took some effort on his part because I have a finished basement and he only had a very narrow unfinished area in which to try and locate the problem.  Unfortunately, he was unable to reconnect the pipe without taking out a large section of drywall which the company would not be able to do.  He suggested that I contact a handyman.  In addition to actually trying to resolve the issue, the company did NOT charge for the service call.  If I was able to get this type of customer service without spending a dime, imagine the quality of paid service!!!!!  I will definitely use this company in the future.

"The visit went well.  I had several minor things that needed repair:  the remotes for the ceiling fans weren't working properly (and no, they didn't need new batteries), I needed pictures hung, one of the bathroom sinks seemed to be clogged and I had a drip from one of the faucets.  There may have been additional items as well.  They were very careful and did a great job.  The clogged sink involved the way it was installed - an item that is used to cap something on the original plumbing was dropped into the drain pipe by mistake so depending on how it turned by the water flow, it could stop up the sink.  He removed that and I haven't had trouble since.  The pictures were hung professionally - he even made suggestions to make the grouping look more interesting!  The problem with the ceiling fan remotes were fixed wihout the need for me to spend additional money (something I like).  The only complaint I have is that he needed a cannister for the faucet in order to fix the leak, and since I was having surgery after they came to my home, we weren't able to connect to fix the faucet, so it's still dripping.  I did use a Angies List deal for this service.

"The representatives were courteous and professional completing the work within a reasonable amount of time. They quickly identified the problem and worked to resolve it to our satisfaction. The cover on the master bath outet was cracked by the contractor who either did not notice the crack or failed to mention it. Overall, I appreciated the work and would have Sam and Sons return for future electrical repairs."
