I ran a large mechanical contracting business for years so understand this business. Guy ran through his checks on what is a fairly complex home system. He pointed out problems that were minor, major, or had the potential to be major. We discussed options and timing. Since our system is old, it will be difficult to repair some of the parts and pieces while others would be fairly standard. Everyone is very experienced and knowledgeable, and all clearly take pride in their work. They kept in excellent communication with me throughout the installation. They were respectful of my home, my concerns, my pets, etc.
They stand by what they sell, too. This winter, about 18 months after it was installed, my tankless hot water heater had a factory defect that caused it to shut off. Steve came the day I reported the problem, was on the phone with the manufacturer for hours to diagnose the issue, and came back twice more to finish the repair (3 visits might sound absurd, but it wasn't Airco's problem, it was the manufacturer's, as they were misdiagnosing the issue). The unit is now working perfectly thanks to Steve's persistence. A bonus: Airco charged me for only a small portion of Steve's time from his initial visit. They ate the cost of his additional visits! These guys are golden.
