"It went great. Satisfied us when anything came up. Like, there were a couple punch list items, and he addressed them. Before he finished the other part of the project. I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. My dad is the owner of the house, but he put me there. I'm the one that got the contractor and everything, and I'm telling you it's. It looks like it was this way originally, like it grew there. I can't say enough about how great it was because we had to deal with discontinued products. And I was, now, there were a little bit of obstacles that we had to get over, but it was just, everything was done, and to complete satisfaction. I had called her because I wanted to keep it local, you know I called the contractor right in town here. On the other side of the island, northwell, and he didn't show up. And anyway, this person is Fred Quigley. He was the most personable. Response like that, and I was just like I was already sold, but then you know I could tell he knew what he was doing. We felt very comfortable with the way he handled every detail. He built the home eficiently and swiftly, and neighbors spoke with him and also took down his information for future building renovations, large or small. Our home sits on a cozy street in the "Crest", and is one of the prettiest in the neighborhood. He is such a personable and friendly individual he made us feel very comfortable from beginning to the end. We didn’t hesitate to contact him and will do so with future services. He always answered our questions in the friendliest manner (I know I had some silly questions). He is always very pleasant and smiling. "Dave did an excellent job, and completed the work ahead of schedule, with no issues with cost or additional extras. <br /> He was extremely professional...polite, prompt, and conscience of his surroundings...but he was also a genuinely nice guy, who I trusted with the house and my family (the first sign of this was when our cat jumped on his lap and sat down, which she literally never does). <br /> Dave's considerable experience was evident in his attention to detail, craftsmanship, and thoroughness in how he performed the work (e.g. The way he braced/reinforced the roof prior to removing the old posts took more work, but ensured the roof was properly supported at the joist/header junction, instead of just propping it up with 2x4s from the ground, which I've typically seen on other jobs). <br /> Dave and his crew cleaned up each day following the construction, and promptly disposed of all the old materials they had removed. <br /> I highly recommend Garrett Building Company (and already have to two of my friends), and would (will, actually) use him again.  Dave does what he says, when he says he will do it, and does it well.  I also thought his cost was very reasonable. <br /> <br />"
