"The entire process from getting a price, to getting more detailed information on the windows to the final installation was incredibly easy and professional. I submitted a request for quote to 4 companies along with pictures and dimensions. Zen windows was the only company that responded. Andrew was extremely helpful in the decision process and educating me on the Soft Lite windows. JR came out measured the windows and thank goodness he and his team did the installation. They were immaculate in their work and the attention to detail with the capping and caulking was awesome. Our home looks great with these new windows, thanks to the entire Zen team. Bob and his team worked very efficiently and professionally. And were always friendly and gave me great  instructions and information during and after the semi remodel.   The start of the project began with the electrician who installed the new vent/light for the shower and also corrected the electricity for an outlet(that was extra), Bob and his team then came in to do the tear out of the water damaged walls surrounding the tub down to the studs. The plumber was then scheduled to install the new anti scald plumbing after which the crew was back to refinish the tub from pink to white and then install new insulation, waterproof drywall and the new tub surround. I did purchase a new vanity and lighting for the bathroom which Bob picked up the vanity for me from Lowe's.  The last detail was his tile crew did a great job refitting the bathroom tile to meet the new tub surround.  My home was never left a mess, everyday they cleaned up after themselves and were usually always on time. This all took approximately 5 days. I am very happy with the results.

"When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."

"Nate arrived on time and ready to work. We just moved into a new house and had several small jobs to be done, like hang curtain rods, tv wall mounts, remote garage door opener. Nate has also worked for us at our previous house in Charlotte and always does a nice neat job. Will certainly hire again. Need to book in advance"

"The installation only took three days and looks great. We went with white to keep the house cooler since our main living area is south facing. My only gripe is that it took a while between delivery and installation. However, Roman helped me with that. I'll hire Exceptional Exteriors for my next project for sure."

"Job went well. Promptly received quote. Chris stopped one evening to confirm color match was acceptable. Started job when they said they would. Gutters look great. One minor issue-the downspout collars were installed with bar code labels on them. I phoned Chris to notify him and someone came within the week to remove them.

"Mike, Alan and the entire crew were very professional and did an excellent job. This project was a Storm damage restoration and remodeling of a 10x 20 feet workshop on my detached garage. A large tree had fallen and crushed the roof and damaged the walls of the shop. It included removing all equipment and storage from the workshop, demolition of the roof and 3 walls, building new walls, framing of the roof over the shop, replacing damaged roof sheathing on the main garage. Also, the entire garage roofing was replaced. 30 x 25 feet. Additionally, a new window was installed and new siding on the shop area as well. The new roof was built with an overhang facia and soffit. A custom workbench was built as well as floor mounted cabinets and a laminate countertop. My small lathe and drill press were remounted on the new workbench. All work was top notch. The workshop also had to be totally rewired with ample receptacles and lighting and a ceiling mounted space heater. Great job and I am pleased and highly recommend Richardson Contracting. Besides doing a great job on the garage workshop, Mike and Alan were extremely helpful in getting the insurance company to cover the cost of the restoration work."
