"We did a major remodeling of virtually everything in the house. James, of Premier Construction, consulted with us in detail and developed a detailed plan and cost. The work was done in a professional manner, on time and with the highest quality expected. We are incredibly impressed with James' professionalism and expertise. His team is as professional and quality oriented as he is. We can not give him enough kudos. We are most pleased with the end product and will recommend him to anyone."

"Larry Gilliam came highly recommended to us from another one of his customers and I too highly recommend them.  Very impressed with the quality of work, friendliness of the painters/carpenters and the close attention to detail they kept throughout the entire job.  Our home is entirely wood siding, and had some damage from a tornado as well as some weathered sections that were exposed to the elements.  The crew made quick and thorough repairs, and made our 125 year-old home look brand new again!  The price quoted was shockingly lower than expected, and high-quality Sherwin-Williams paint was used.  <br /> One old, stained glass window was damaged when one of their ladders fell through it on accident.  Larry came out the next day and brought the glass to a specialist he knew, who made a new piece (12" x 4") for it and the replacement was installed on the second day.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Curtis did work for us years ago in our old home. Sometimes he worked by himself and sometimes he had someone with him. We were pleased and when we need a handyman again we'll probably call him. We moved into a small townhouse and don't have as much that need to be done as we used to. He was dependable and we were satisfied with what he did. He did what we asked to be done. When he was doing the work it was great, but sometimes if he had someone else helping him he had to kind of tell them what to do. His price was the going rate and I would rather have someone that I trust to do what I want done and pay them more then to pay someone who would do it for less and don't do it satisfactory. The quality was good and my husband was overseeing everything that was done. He also had to go get some of the supplies to go and fix them up and bring them back to the house."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Marshall, TX

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
