Get matched with top metal siding: repairer or partially replacers in Maryland-line, MD

"Roof & window we're repaired immediately. They showed up the following day after my initial call and provided an accurate estimate. Work commensed right after I signed the contract. The siding took a bit longer due to difficulty matching my 16 yr. old siding (an exact match was no longer being manufactured). I learned this is a common problem. Once an acceptable match was found; the work was completed promptly and correctly. Every effort was made to satisfy me (the customer) and they succeeded. I would hire them again for future needs."

"Very professional group. Work was performed in three days and included a complete tear down and replacement of the siding, facia, soffit and gutters. Top quality material was used across the board. House looks better than new."

"Superb siding and gutter installation by a company that installed windows in our sunroom and a metal roof on the house. The crew, Jae, Freddy and Freddy Jr worked meticulously for 2 weeks to complete the job. They were very tidy and considerate of our property and koi pond. They asked questions before proceeding if there were options to their plan. I highly recommend S&K and manager Chad Ringold for any windows, siding or roofing/gutter projects."

"We contracted with them to install windows and insulated vinyl siding in 2016. They completed the work on time and at budget. They were very agreeable and the installation team gave us some sound advice during the installation. Since we have an old house, there were some surprises along the way, but the installation team solved them in real time and we ended up very satisfied with the job. We saw an immediate decrease in heating and cooling costs that persists to this day. Recently, some of the window casings came loose. We called them and they sent a repair crew immediately. They've been consistently easy to work with, reasonably priced, and have given us quality work. We definitely recommend them."

"The work was done only one week from the day that they came out to see the roof for the estimate.
Everything looks great, and I could tell that it was very detailed and fussy work. The new shingles match the old ones perfectly; they are woven into the old ones well, and the valley where the old and new roofs meet is covered with what I think is called a "weave" seam, which looks like a herringbone pattern: extra fancy. I can see at least one side of the roof repair from an upstairs window. They worked after sunset to get the job done in one day, using headlamps. Cleanup was great, with no nails in the driveway or debris flying around, even though they were finishing up in the dark. Since I had more rotten plywood in the area to be repaired than originally expected, and the work took more shingles, the actual cost was understandably $219 more than the original estimate, but again, that was completely understandable and within the range of other estimates from other contractors. They had to fetch more shingles twice. Their written business policies state that this can happen, and it's only fair. They did call to explain this before they mailed the invoice. We have had one heavy rain since the repair was completed, and I am happy that there were no drips from the metal wrap under my porch, for the first time in about 21 years.
I hope that this repair carries me through until the entire roof needs redone in another 10-15 years, and I would have this outfit do the work then."

"William MacKay Roofing is a family business.  I purchased a package from this company to have my roof inspected since more than 20 years have passed since it had been replaced.  The MacKays arrived promptly as stated when we made the appointment. The employees were very professional, my roof was inspected, and I was shown pictures of my roof with an explanation of the its condition.  Since my roof did not need to be replaced, I advised Mr. MacKay that I would call him to replace my roof when that time came.  I was very satisfied with the services provided by this company and would definitely use them again because of the excellent services that I received with this inspection.

"A+ for ethics and professionalism. The repair on our old and non-standard roof was tricky and ultimately didn't last (roof leaked within 14 months). However, when the owner was contacted (he's busy so it took a while) he came out personally and arranged for an alternative fix to the roof. The owner, Dave Garner, did this at no charge, without being asked. We still don't know if we have a permanent solution but we're really impressed with Dave and the company's business practices. We would be pleased to use them for any future roofing repairs (although we hope we don't have any!)."

"It did not go well. I did not pay anything more. We discussed several projects and he was supposed to get back to me with pricing and he never did. He completed some work. The work he did was satisfactory. He did not have the proper tools to complete the work. It was up to three pieces of siding. I had three pieces that had fallen off the house, in different areas. One of those pieces broke when it fell. So I had gone ahead and purchased replacement siding, which I had there when he arrived. The piece I had bought required him to make one cut so it would fit. He said, "I don't have a saw with me to cut that." I thought it was odd that someone who is coming to work on vinyl siding would not have a saw with him, to cut a piece of vinyl siding. So essentially, he put the broken piece back up on the house. We discussed other projects, he made a list and then never responded."

"We have been looking for someone to take on our roofing and wall repair project for over a year and a half. Finding John is honestly one of the best things that's happened to us since moving into our home. It's hard to find someone who does high quality roofing and masonry repairs, uses high quality materials, is easy to communicate with. John checks all the boxes. A+ When I inquire for an estimate and service in a voice message, John reached out to me the very same day. He was extremely detail-oriented and picked up on all sorts of little things. He was professional and really knows what he is doing. There were at times I didn't what was needed for our roof but John was right there for us like our skylights needed flashing and one of the vents needed to be replaced. John cares about my home like it's his! He went out of his way to custom order shingles I liked. Once installed, we couldn't be more happy how well it looks for our home. Working along with John is his brother Dan who did a fantastic job in making sure our wall repairs were done right. A real solid person. Before leaving the finished wall repair job, Dan walked to every repair spot to see if everything is ok and even asked us if there is we wanted him to take a look at. A+ We are really grateful to have found John and look forward to working with him on future projects."

"Eastern did a great job assisting us with choosing the right roof and color. Work was done quickly and professionally. I would recommend Eastern to anyone looking to have their roof replaced."
