"Ask how much your wants/needs will cost before discussing your budget. We put our patio decision off for a year because of a bad experience with a different contractor over our budget and our wants. Classic Landscapes did NOT take advantage of us, but others may try."

"Owning a business for over 20 years, I've worked with several vendors for renovations over the years. It's important to me that they are highly skilled & conscientious-- they need to care about the quality of their work and their reputation. My experience with Maxima Concrete was just that. Paul followed through with every promise made. The work crew on-site was professional and very skilled. I think the highest review you can give a company is that you would definitely hire them again for a future job. I definitely will be calling them for any concrete work I need in the future."

"Hello, I had Distinctive Outdoor Concepts do a about 600 sq. foot paver patio and everything came out amazing. Joe Bird was great the entire process. He answered any questions I had at anytime and trust me I had a lot of questions. I got quotes from about 15 different patio companies and chose Distinctive Outdoor Concepts just because of Joe Bird. I would 100% recommend using this company for any patio/landscaping needs you have."

"We had our failing patio in the back rebuilt and reconfigured while we were at it. It was maybe a little more challenging than doing a new patio, but all the issues were resolved and we are pleased with the results."

"We called Twinscapes in early April to discuss our project and were thrilled to find out they were the company that originally installed the patio at our home with the previous owner. They were called back last year to redesign the patio with the previous owner but the project was put on hold mid-tear up (due to the homeowner, not Twinscapes) and the house was put on the market. When we talked with Sam he was extremely invested in getting our patio back to functional and to our preferences. It was a huge help that he knew the previous design and what had been done last year to begin the redesign. He was able to determine how far the existing loose pavers would take us and offer and ideas to incorporate new stone with the old. I appreciated he was wanting to make the old stone work so we could stay in our budget, rather than trying to talk us into all new stone (as others did). We talked through our ideas and combined them with Sam's expertise. He took a few measurements and we had the quote with a design drawn up by the end of the week as he promised. To be thorough we met with 2 other companies and their price came in higher and they offered no ideas or input. I felt comfortable knowing that Sam was able to visualize the concept, say what would work and what wouldn't, and also work to make our ideas fit. He estimated getting the project started in early June and he was quick to respond each time we contacted him between April and June, and was able to requote our price through our 3 design changes (sorry Sam!) In early June (as promised) Sam and his brother Nate worked with a team of 4 guys and finished the project in one long day, only returning the following morning for some quick touch ups and to resand the pavers. I am no patio expert but I was amazed at how fast they work without compromising quality. They took measures to protect our grass and current landscaping. They were as picky about the final outcome as I could hope for- for example, after power washing the finished patio some our old stones looked a little off in color, they worked to pull those up turn them over or swap out with another stone until it looked right- something I was going to ask them about when they came back for day 2 but they did it on their own before I could. They even paid attention to such small things (like washing the dust off our grill after the project was done) which goes a long way with me. I am not one to write reviews typically but we felt the need to do so after working with Twinscapes. We will definitely use them in the future and have already recommended them to our friends. <br />"

"This was an amazing experience and group of people!  From beginning to end every detail was handled professionally, courteously, and beautifully!  Rob's design consult far exceeded several other consults we had with other companies in terms of design ideas, creativity, ease of conversation, openness to our ideas, incorporating our wants in a functional and aesthetically  pleasing manner and budget conscious ideas/alterations.  Rob was so knowledgeable and has a great vision.  Rich built our deck with a helper and he was wonderful! Very tedious(which is a good thing), hard working, and dedicated.  He troubleshooted any issues quickly and efficiently which kept the project on track. Even with the 20+ straight days of rain we endured during our project, he showed up every opportunity he could and worked every moment the weather allowed him to (including several times of sitting in his truck or under my roofline to wait out a sudden torrential downpour).  And on the days he couldn't come due to weather, Phil or Josh called me by 9am to let me know.  I was always in the loop and aware of what to expect, what was current and what happens next.  Rich cleaned up his worksite every single day as well which made the construction site easy to look at and still enjoy surrounding areas during the project construction.  Ox and his team hung the stone on our skirt and began as soon as Rich finished the deck!  They worked their tails off in 100 degree heat in order to finish our stone skirt in only a few days.  And to top off the high quality workmanship, work ethic and professionalism by every single person involved, they were also incredibly friendly with excellent communication skills and really just good people.  Our project did take a little over a month to complete but ONLY because of the weather conditions. There was never a day that I felt they could have worked and didn't.  They seized every opportunity to work therefore I believe that considering the weather, it was done quite quickly.  Phil was amazing at communicating with us throughout the project, always answering my calls and addressing my questions/concerns immediately.   At my final walk through with Rob(who remained in communication with me regarding the project from start to finish) we were given our 5 year warranty information and he answered any and all of my questions thoroughly.  And then we went ahead and discussed our patio and landscaping plans for next year as we will DEFINITELY be working with Archadeck of Columbus again.  I hope I didn't leave anything out as there are so many good things to say about this team!  And of course, we LOVE our deck!  It is truly the most beautiful deck and we enjoy it daily.  Everyone who sees it can't help but openly admire how gorgeous it is and how functional too! <br />"

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Marysville, OH

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
