"Our home has "orangeberg" sewer pipe that has been a worry. Historically, this pipe deteriorates, collapses and must be replaced or repaired. An obsolete product it dates to the post world warII era.  It will eventually fail.  We had our sewer video inspected and that analysis demonstrated 1) we hand orangeberg pipe & 2) one section had failed.   NuPipe provided us with a logical, repair action plan at a fair price and could schedule to work to be done soon.  The tradesman who evaluated the project impressed us with his analysis and attention to detail.  NuPipe office staff as been outstanding.  Smart, helpful and very reassuring.  All our questions got answered right away and in our case that meant fielding questions from 5 different folks.   <br />  NuPipe arrived on time as promised and got the job done. Our property has extensive custom landscaping and it was very important to us to avoid trenching the yard to dig up pipe.  NuPipe thought they could excavate the break and line the old pipe to limit further collapse. Thy started on Monday and the inspection was complete on Thursday.  Now we couldn't use the sewer for a day, which is really kinda a long time....ideally the line would be out of service for about a half day.  The crew on site and in the office has been very thoughtful and cooperative.  <br /> My  frustration is that finding NuPipe was NOT through Angie's list.  Searching for who does this kind of work was very challenging. <br /> As an average home owner I got lost in sink repair and goggled drain specialist. Never thought to search under "excavating".  My son in law located NuPipe somehow.  I was searching AnnArbor plumbers and NuPipe is headquartered in Pontiac so they never surfaced in my searching.   <br /> I definitely recommend  NuPipe and hopefully will never need 'em again. <br />"

I had relied on another service and discovered that the previous service did not throughly address the problem. Bill Walton and his team not only corrected the problem that was ignored but got rid of the storm trap and rerouted the storm drain to the sewer line. This was my son's house and an episode of basement flooding had occured the previous year. Bill advised us on the best plan to prevent any further issues in the future by using back flow valves and removing the storm trap. He will be our plumber and my son's plumber from now on!"
