"We met Mike several years ago at the Home Show and had him come to our home to discuss the job we needed done. He arrived on time and explained everything with a fair quote. Since then, and over the past several years, we've contracted with Mike and Suburban Construction for many projects and have always been completely satisfied and happy with the results - from completely re-siding our house with new vinyl siding, renewing our front porch with composite flooring, adding stonework trim along the bottom of front, side and back of the house, re-siding and re-shingling roofs of two sheds, installing replacement windows in kitchen and living room...probably others I'm not recalling. Mike chooses the best product brands available for each project, and gives personal advice along the way. His crews are top notch - professional and highly skilled, personable, polite and respectful, and always go above and beyond with work, suggestions and advice. No matter how hot it is or how tired they are they completely clean up at the end of each day. The finished projects are always beautifully done, and they should all be proud of their stellar work. And not for nothing....they are as respectful as men wearing large work boots can be of your surrounding landscaping and flowers....construction "collateral damage" is minimal! During this past summer's latest project, one of the guys even helped me relocate my porch wreath, that held a robin's nest, to a quieter spot before the bow window was replaced!! (I replaced the wreath at the end of the day, mama robin came back, and babies started hatching the next day!) It's those extra little things that make a difference that make these guys so special!! After all, they're family men, too, and understand those random personal things that might be important to you. We highly recommend Suburban Construction for any project you need done, and not only would hire them again...we wouldn't look anywhere else! "Ok so I am writing a review everywhere I can for David and crew. Basically havr been using David and J&D for every aspect of the house! Windows, Doors, Facade wall, Kitchen, Siding etc. Have yet to have any bad experience with these guys!! Wonderful, efficient, courteous, professional, and I cannot say this enough… what a crack up! "Craig did landscaping and installed a paver patio at my residence in which they did a phenomenal job. However I also had a lawn irrigation system installed which is where things went down hill. The gentlemen who installed it was friendly and on time but he installed the solenoid valve incorrectly for the drip hose on my arborvitaes. He had the on/off wires crossed. Although the system said the unit was running, no water was being supplied to them. They of course ended up dying. I thought maybe it was the soil. So I had the arborvitaes replaced by Craig for a few. These died too. Today I decided to replace the valve and that is when I discovered the solenoid wires were crossed. No testing was ever done on the irrigation system. I’m a bit disappointed in the oversight. Otherwise I do recommend this business for all other work. Stay away from lawn irrigation."

"DO NOT hire Dan Ford aka Dan the Handyman. I hired him to install a stone walkway and it is a complete disaster. The workmanship is terrible. The walkway is falling apart, breaking and lifting and is a trip hazard. I had to take him to court to get my payment refunded. I was awarded the judgment, but Dan Ford has NOT paid. I ended up having to file a transcript of judgment with the County Court and have a lien placed on him and his business. He still has NOT paid. Do NOT hire Dan Ford aka Dan the Handyman."
