Get matched with top major home repair pros (general contractors) in Medford, MA

"Very well.  I acted as general contractor after my builder disappeared in the middle of the job.  I had some good contractors and some not so good ones.  HS Plastering and Painting was at the top of the good list.  The quality of their work was very good; no complaints there at all.  But what stood out was the experience of working with them.  They came when asked, did what they were asked to do, acted in a professional manner, stood by their work, and were a true pleasure to have as a contractor.  They were quick, worked weekends to get the job done, and didn't cut corners.
In fact, my realtor liked them so much that she asked for their contact information for other houses that she works on.

"The Perry Brothers Construction team was outstanding at providing exactly what my family needed. Bill Perry, the owner, always listened carefully to any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire window replacement process. I never felt pressured to purchase products or services I wasn't looking for and was extremely happy with the results. Perry Brothers Construction is the only general contractor in Massachusetts and New Hampshire who I'd confidently reccomend to my friends and family. It was a pleasure to have Bill and his crew work on our home."

"The workers came on the appointed day with a longer ladder, as suggested.    Terry called to ask if he and an assistant could come by earlier than the original appointment time because they had finished work scheduled in the area earlier than expected; that certainly worked for me.    He surveyed the roof, took pictures and reattached a loose shingle that had fallen into the gutter.   Terry showed me the pictures of the roof from many angles; they showed no other repairs were necessary at this time.  Terry asked if there was anything else that required attention, but nothing else was immediately apparent.  He gave me his card and explained that the company does general contacting work.
I am very impressed with the speed and efficiency shown today and won't hesitate to call MMP Construction in future if I need general contracting work done.

"We have used SILMAC for two major projects and have always been very happy with the outcomes. Joe is great to work with and gives honest and up front analysis of the work and it thoughtful about the proposal and costs. The workers were always very friendly and respectful and left a clean worksite each day. Joe also doesn’t hesitate to come back if issues arise later. My home has definitely benefited from the great work of SILMAC and I highly recommend them to anyone I know looking for a contractor."

"If you have spoken to the rest now hire the best Liam Neary Construction. I bought a house last year and have probably replaced almost everything. I have worked with at least 20 contractors and not one of them comes close to the talent, hard work, dedication, and professionalism of Liam Neary. He has a clean-as-you-go mentality keeping everything neat and orderly. He loves what he does, and it shows in the beautiful, finished products of his work. He will treat your home like his own. Do yourself a favor hire Neary Construction, you will have the work of a true craftsman."

"Sanfer was the general contractor and worked on the project diligently. He was very responsive throughout the project. Painting and plastering was outsourced to a sub contractor. However, Sanfer’s crew worked on remodeling the kitchen and bathroom. There were some delays as we made changes in scope of the work. Overall, I was happy with their work."

"Leo and his crew were some of the most professional painters I have ever worked with. Leo is incredibly responsive and worked with our budget for a full exterior repaint of our house. His team is extremely detail oriented, conscientious, kind and beyond professional. They meticulously cleaned up everyday and were prompt with arriving and staying for the entire day. The job was completed in exactly the timeframe provided and we couldn't be happier with the final result. I would recommend Leo and his team to anyone looking for home improvements - they are outstanding!"

"George and his crew were excellent. What I appreciated most was his integrity and commitment to providing quality work. He didn’t cut corners, and he made recommendations that will ensure that my new deck will last for years to come. He discovered some pre-existing conditions with the foundation of my home that he could’ve ignored and that could’ve caused problems down the line had he not addressed them and just built around them. While I had not anticipated having to make such extensive repairs, it made sense, and I’m glad that I did. I’d work with this company again and highly recommend George and his crew to others. The work was well done; he worked on it until finished not leaving to take on other projects; and they cleaned up the area every day. Already, I’ve gotten lots of compliments on the work and look forward to next Spring when I can enjoy the deck again."
