"I have been in construction for nearly 50 years, so I have developed a keen eye for quality craftsmanship. Our project was no small project, so there was a genuine concern that the right company be hired to do our project. After reading J T General Contracting's reviews, I reached out to Jim for an estimate. Again, as I stated earlier, I have been involved in construction for nearly 50 years, so when a contractor shows up for an estimate when he stated that he would, that is a good first step. Our project just completed today, and I can state that from the demolition of our existing deck, to the layout and installation of piers, Posts, Joists, Trex Composite Deck (with stairs and raised platform for the Spa) and composite Railings, I could not find one flaw in his workmanship. Jim takes a great deal of pride in the work that he is installing and demands that from his employees as well. Secondly, Jim has excellent communication skills, not only in responding to phone calls or text messages, but explaining what he will be doing each step of the way. "Chester and his team were very respectful of working in our home while we were also working from home. They were able to diagnose and fix our plumbing issue, including completely replacing all the cabinets that had been damaged beyond repair. Job was done in a timely manner - especially given the extent of the water damage. Chester and his team were the only contractors who agreed to take on the repairs, after we had several contractors/companies say the job was too big for them. 10/10 would hire again (though hopefully we won't need to!)"

"Angelo Pecoraro, the owner of A.P. Builder, was a pleasure to work with from start to finish on our major remodeling project of adding a sunroom to our home. Out of many contractors I called to get an estimate, he was the only one willing to provide options to have the project fit our budget. Once we agreed to move forward, he worked diligently with the architect and village to get the permits finalized (which is a difficult task in my town). Once the work started, he provided almost daily updates of the work that will be completed and any anticipated inspections (which we passed easily). He also reached out himself to finalize details from big items like windows to small ones like the molding. The result was a beautiful sunroom and deck which I receive compliments on regularly. "I had used Old World Carpentry in the past for a major repair/painting job on the outside trim of our house. Therefore I knew James was the right choice to remove/reinstall an outside railing on our roof. James arrived promptly on short notice to remove the railing. After roofing and stucco repairs were made he again returned to fabricate and reinstall the railing which now looks as good as new. James also fabricated a kickplate for our new trash compactor which matches the existing woodwork in our kitchen. I would definitely use James again for any carpentry job.

"I called Salvador out to repair damage to my bathroom left from another contractor. I'm beyond elated and happy with the repair work. His workers showed up on time each day. They covered my stairs to prevent dirt and damage. Each day they were at my home, they took away all garbage which saved me from having it sit around to garbage pickup. Then I met the crew John, Mike and Ziggy. We had a great relationship. Everything that was to be accomplished was explained to me on a daily bases.
