Turned out it was NOT a plumbing issue, but he headed me in the right direction for the next step, which I appreciated. CONS: Showed up at 8:25 for an 8:00 appt. I have a job where I punch a time clock, so I don't appreciate lost pay time. Also, right before he left, discovered my bathroom toilet appeared to be leaking. He quickly diagnosed it as a faulty flush valve that needed to be replaced. I was told it was an easy fix. I gave him permission to fix it, but shame on me for not asking the price beforehand. It was indeed an easy fix (took him less than 12 minutes) and I knew how much a flush valve repair kit costs at Lowe's (not much!), so needless to say I was very surprised when I was charged SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS for this. REALLY??? I was in such a hurry to get to work (already running a half hour later than I should've been, remember) so I didn't question it, although now I really wished I had. Like I said, shame on me, but I truly was NOT expecting such a big over-charge (my opinion) for a common and minor fix."
