I contacted JCTHI for a cracked water pipe over the winter freeze.  I spoke to Carlos to make the appointment and he was able to come out an hour before the actual appointment time.  He examined the area and gave me a fair estimate.  After I gave him the go ahead, he was able to finish the job in less than an hour and also save me money by avoiding some of the other possible repairs he had originally estimated.  He's an honest guy that you can trust!  Not only did he honor the coupon I had, he also showed me some useful tips on small repairs I can do myself.

"Michael was very knowledge and he explained to me what was wrong with the faucet. He was very patience with me when I was asking him several question. When I told him over the phone what was wrong, he knew exactly the problem. Now my faucet is working well."

"It wasn't so great. They had to come back several times. Every time that I called them back to take a look at their work, they didn't actually fix anything. They said they were going to come back later and refinish the whole tub. Then, when that time came around, they just stopped picking up my phone calls. Immediately after they did the job, there was flaking of the paint on the tub. Also, they painted my bathroom door and the floor. I called them maybe like three times. Twice, they came out. Then finally they said, "Let's just schedule when we're not so busy. In the next couple of months, we'll come out and we'll clean everything up and we'll redo the tub." After he left, he stopped picking up my phone calls."

"The plumber performed a cursory check of the plumbing in the house. The outdoor faucets and refrigerator ice maker line were overlooked as well as the floor drain under the spa tub.. On the phone prior to the visit, I asked how long it would take to perform the   water heater "flush" and inspection. He said about 45 minutes. It took him about 30 minutes including the water heater flush. He looked at the plumbing in/under each sink, tub and shower and noted there was no evidence of leaks and  pointed out   a few obvious problems I was already aware of ( e.g. disconnected sink plugs, old faucets, etc.). Even though this was an Angie's List "Big Deal" supposedly at half the usual price, i thought it was excessive for the  service provided.

"Edmund is my hero! Showered in the morning to find the faucet had broken and the water would not turn off.  After turning off the main water to the house, I attempted to repair myself. I knew what needed to be done, but got stuck at a certain point and did not want to cause any damage.  Called Crown Plumber and Edmund told me he was nearby and could come right out.  He fixed the faucet, replaced the handle, and showed me where I went wrong in my repair attempt.  He was professional and charged me what he quoted on the phone. The repair looks great and the shower is working better than ever.  From the time I called Crown Plumber to the time Edmund left was under an hour.  I am very pleased and highly recommend Edmund and Crown Plumber."
