received 9 bids. Rene the owner of Express Roofing come out to quote the  roof as well. What he had to say compared what the other roofers had to say is why we picked Express Roofing. Rene went thru in details and explaned what and how he was going to do. Verses the other roofers were allot more vague. Rene had his pencil sharpened and ready.

There were a total of three people I communicated with during the process. After accepting and giving the"OK' to work I was contacted by a gentleman names Jeff "office manager". Very impressed with the commumication from Jeff. He kept me informed via email and always returned or  answered my phone calls same day for the most part.

The third person I had allot of contact with was Ricardo, ( Job foreman) I would get up in the morning (still dark) There would be Ricardo waiting for other workers to show up. Once able to see (sun up) Work begain, And didn't stop till dark. The crew cleaned up at the end of the day very well leaving no messes from previous day.  Very impressed!!

 The crew worked five straight day till completion. Workers very detailed and everything was done to my liking.

As for the "charge ups. (additional work that needed to be done on top of original bid) Very fair and worked with me.

Express roofing was not the cheapest bid, but not the most expensive.

"By the time I had enough time to speak with Gary regarding my new kitchen, I decided I would be doing the work myself.  He could have easily told me to have a nice day and hang up the phone.  Instead he gave me detailed advice about a concern I had with part of the kitchen electrical work.  He also gave me referrals for the best places to get my materials.  There will be a day when I am too busy or lazy to complete a home project myself.  When that day comes, I won't need to search because I am going straight to Gary.

"I had to have them back out and redo the tile. We've already replaced the nuts and bolts in the drawers that were falling out."

"Brian's men spent one day to remove all the old tile.  We had problems with rotten wood and had to wait a few days for the lumber to arrive.  We needed some very long (22ft) strips of 2x6 which are hard to find.  I rejected the first shipment from the lumber company due to excessive knots and not being straight.  This was for fascia board.  When the materials were here, his men were very quick and one and a half weeks after starting, the job was done.  The house painting was done by a pair who specialized in painting.  They taped windows and fixtures, and moved personal property and furniture, away form the walls and used a lot of caulking compound to patch up holes on the walls.  Four colors of paint were used as we wanted a darker color for the trim, a green color for our back yard trellis, and yet another color for a wall separating the upper back yard from the lower area. All this was done with the best, most expensive paint on the market.  He used Sherwin Williams.  I was impressed with the thoroughness of the caulking and the speed of the painting with their powerful spray wands.  Again, anything I did not like, they repaired immediately and cheerfully.  Brian always says he wants to deliver the job "to your satisfaction".  The only disappointment was with the painter who did the garage floor.  But that was short-lived because Brian fired him immediately and re-did the floor at his expense.What else can I say about a job well done and done to my satisfaction?"

"From the very beginning - to the end of the job, Joe was very determined to be sure that we were happy with the way the work was progressing. He had suggestions for improvements, based on his experience, eye for detail, and a bit of perfectionism. He was quick to incorporate changes we wanted. We are very pleased with the way Joe worked and the results are outstanding. EVERYTHING looks great.

• flooring looks great
  • Joe removed and reinstalled baseboards above flooring
  • it is level from room to room, even though it didn't start that way
• walls are perfect, my wife is very very pleased (I didn't know they could look so good)

• added some ceiling molding in the hall
• remounted bathroom sink

Very conscientious about the rest of our house and yard. And cleaned up extremely well at the end of each day."
