"Our house was built in the early 1900's . The kitchen was severely outdated. Outlets were at a minimum . It had a partition wall that divided the kitchen limiting space. The remodel was long overdo!  We had 2 other estimates done and Todd was recommended to us by a friend. He came to do the estimate and spent 2 hrs with us going over the layout of the kitchen, what we wanted ,and gave us recommendations of his own to help us with the new design. His experience in kitchen design was an asset to us because this was our first time doing a large remodel. His estimate was right on target and fit in our budget. Todd made the experience as painless as possible. He was professional , punctual, and respectful. At the end of the day he would tell us what he accomplished for the day and what the next steps would be. No question was ever too small. He was always available to answer any questions, either by phone or e-mail.He was very detailed and his work was done with precision.  The carpentry and tile work was done flawlessly! His plumber, Gary, and plasterer Rick, were fantastic!  We have a laundry area in our kitchen.Gary made it possible during the remodel to keep our washer hooked up so we could do laundry!  Rick , with 30 yrs of plastering experience, is a master at his trade!
 Todd cleaned up each night and dust was kept down to a minimum, a bonus! We were comfortable leaving him in our house for the day and eventually our cat would keep him company in the kitchen!  We were so happy with the kitchen work we had him install a new window in our bathroom before he left!
We absolutely love our new kitchen! We are planning to have him back in the Spring for other projects.

"Jonesy lives in the next town and he happened  to have a little time free so he came right over an hour later.
I could not remove the blown bulb in the freezer. Frankly, I was a little embarrassed to call an appliance repair guy, but was glad I did.  He told me with newer refrigerators with electronic displays,  if the bulb breaks, it can short out the mother board and turn into a costly repair.  So I asked him to do it.
He had a tough time but was able to remove the bulb without breaking it.  While he was here, I had him clean the compressor and front grill.
He suggested that you always put a little Vaseline on the threads of the bulb to prevent this problem in the future. Clearly, the original bulb had been over tightened and, as I saw on line, is not an uncommon problem.  
He was very personable and offers a $10 discount to Angie's List members.  I will definitely use him again.

This was about as seamless a kitchen renovation that one could ever hope for.  Dave listened carefully to the goals we wanted to achieve in our kitchen, and was patient with the design adjustments we wanted to incorporate as we considered each version of the design plans.  One cabinet in particular that was added toward the end of the design process was brilliantly conceived on his part--a cabinet to store large items that looked like a lovely piece of dining room furniture, with exterior shelving and drawers. It is a centerpiece in the kitchen.  Dave was careful to preserve important walk ways in our kitchen so as to not create bottlenecks--an important element in this centrally located kitchen.  His advice on style and color of cabinetry was also highly valued in our desire to achieve a cleaner and brighter look, yet one that was still consistent with our 1931 Colonial.

The Brookhaven cabinets are beautiful and well-made.  While they are pricey, Dave was able to steer us to take advantage of a manufacturer's discount.  The selection of hardware that was available without incurring additional cost was completely adequate, and we took advantage of this option.

Installation of the cabinetry was smooth and timely.  We decided to make a last minute change to the placement of our microwave, which necessitated the order of a new drawer.  This took longer than we had hoped, but understood that this was not a Kitchen Center issue, but rather one of the manufacturer, as each items is custom made.  When the drawer arrived, it was without a front--this added more time. 

Once the cabinetry was installed, irregularities were minimal.  Dave and a service that works with him tended to adjusting hinges, covering screw heads, and painting areas that needed to be smoothed. 

Overall, working with the Kitchen Center exceeded our expectations.  Communication and responsiveness were excellent.  They partnered well with our contractor so that there were no glitches or last minute surprises--almost unheard of for a kitchen renovation.  The quality of the design and workmanship has made for a space that we are loving, and our only regret was that we did no redo our kitchen sooner!

"Alessandro was the only contractor that I spoke with who showed up to do the initial assessment on time. We were quite up front that we were on a budget considering the anticipated costs of having a kid. He provided us a quote that originally included the ceilings, walls, floors, doors, bathroom work, painting, closet and half-wall removal. Unfortunately, it was over our budget so we asked to remove the bathroom work and the painting which knocked off $2,000 to get us in line. Once Giovani and the rest of the crew started the work I got a call from Alessandro saying that he wanted to have the final product look finished/great for us, so he offered to install recessed lights (instead of the hodge podge of ceiling units that were there) and include the painting at no additional cost... perhaps as a baby shower gift. We did have some electrical issues where some lights in our first floor kitchen stopped working. Alessandro had their electrician come out to correct the issue, however, the way he re-wired the lights was not how it had originally been. When we brought this up, he had a different electrician come out to correct the issue. Overall, communication was very open. Jackie at their office was good about notifying me when schedules needed to change (even the last minute changes). Whenever I reached out with questions or concerns I did not have to wait long for a response/action. All the guys who came to the house were friendly and kept the space clean after they were done. We are very happy with the transformation of our basement. It is much brighter and much more open."
