The primary task was cedar shake replacement, but he also installed copper gutters, wood gutters, rebuilt a chimney, and repaired a shed on a 1773 historic house. Historic methods and aesthetics were an important part of the project. Brian sourced the materials and corroborated details with experts, including people who had worked on the house many years ago. He is skilled in the techniques in question, and was a clear and careful communicator throughout. He is very organized. Not only that, but he brings humor, humanity, and joy to the process. "I was long over due on doing a addition/ remodeling project on my house. I had Victor come out and I went over what my plans were and what I had envisioned. He was quick to offer solutions that met the cities guidelines, which meant part of my addition would be 2 stories, to allow room for my master suite. They prepared the plans worked out all the details with me. The scope of our project was; adding a master suite, enlarging the family room, kitchen remodel, powder room remodel, and some other misc. work. I was pleased with every aspect of there work, from customer service to the quality of the work preformed. One thing I was really impressed by is the attention to details. Victor would spend so much time talking to me about little design elements, how to position the lights, where to put switches, all things which I thought were pointless at the time. "I'm so happy that I went to Gamco for a remodel of my sunroom/den. The room was originally on a brick floor which had shifted over time. The owner, Gordon, suggested a "floating" floor over the bricks as well as lifting the doors to accommodate the higher floor. Ron, who completed the job was absolutely amazing. He was professional, meticulous and was very reassuring on how everything would look. The room is so much nicer than I imagined it would be. I can't say enough good things about Gordon and Ron.
