"<p>This was a 3 month general upgrade to a ranch style house built in 1960. Main house is 3 bedroom 1 bathroom 38'x24' with a 1 room addition 20'x14' added on about 1970. I had the roof replaced and electrical system upgraded from 100 amp to 200 amp about 5 years ago so they did not need anything done at this time. Just a little history.</p> <p>As for this project a lot of things were done for upgrading.</p> <p>   Removed all old wooden siding and replaced with vinyl cedar impression siding. It costs about 25% more than regular vinyl siding but is well worth it if you can fit it into your budget.</p> <p>    Replaced 17 old wooden windows with Harvey vinyl double hung windows.</p> <p>    Replaced 2 old wooden exterior doors with therma true fiberglass doors and 2 new Harvey aluminum storm doors.</p> <p>    Replaced basement exterior door with new insulated steel door.</p> <p>    Replaced metal slider door off kitchen with new Harvey vinyl slider door.</p> <p>    Replaced a total of 10  inside doors  to bedrooms and closets.</p> <p>    Replaced countertop, sink, and faucet in kitchen.</p> <p>    Did a total demolition of bathroom, new walls, new ceiling and new tile floor. Installed new water saving toilet, replaced</p> <p> old bathtub with new 3 piece walk in fiberglass shower. "We were really pleased with DiOrio's work. We needed a storage platform built in our attic to make room for new insulation. We were concerned a carpenter wouldn't take such a small job so also decided to ask to replace some damaged siding we had here and there around the house. I called DiOrio, and they agreed to come out that week. I had assumed I'd have to make a lot of calls to get someone to come out in the timeframe we needed, so was really happy there. DiOrio was upfront that taking off siding could reveal some underlying damage to the house, which happened to be the case for us. The job went from a $3K estimate to an actual cost of $12K given the extent of the damage. While the cost increase was overwhelming, DiOrio seemed to really know what they were doing. Everything appeared to be done in a high-quality and detailed way, and they communicated with us throughout the process. They were also able to finish the work in a timely way and not keep us hanging on for weeks or months. We're planning to have them back in the spring to check for damage under some additional areas of siding."

It was the biggest project we have ever done and we are so glad we went with Ronaldo. His guys came everyday and worked long hours to get my project completed in about 3.5 weeks. My reason to hire Ronaldo is because heâ s listed on the Hardie website as a certified installer. When I observed his guys working, they did everything to James hardieâ s specs such as installing flashing in every butt joint, sealing every cut with paint, leaving proper gap from chimney/roof line, nailing the siding to studs, caulking the right places, etc. My wife is designer and wanted the trim for the windows, doors and dormers to be done a certain way. She showed Ronaldo her mock-ups and his guys were very meticulous and able to build them exactly to her drawings!
