"A technician came out, and the person was very friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. He checked the dryer and said that I had kept it exceptionally clean, well within the perimeters of the fire safety people who caution about gas dryer fires (he said it more professionally but I don't remember the exact name). He also went outside and checked the vent from the outside to make sure that was clean and clear as well. I would have been 100% happy with this (especially as the price was so reasonable), but the technician did something to the little screen that collects the lint from the dryer that you pull out (don't know the name for that either!), and it hasn't worked right since the visit. I can still pull it out, but something inside catches the lint and it doesn't just come out on the screen like it did prior to their visit. I have to stick my hand in and roll it out or use my vacuum to get it. To be fair to the owners of this business, I did not call them and tell them as I thought something had just bent a little when the technician was cleaning it and that it would eventually work itself out. Then I felt that too much time had passed so I didn't call. If you use them and encounter a problem like I did, call them right away.
