"Aztez representative and workers were prompt and courteous. Overall the job turned out OK and looks nice. The James Hardie stucco sheets and trim were installed in a manner that is much better and should be more weather resistant than original stucco sheets. All trim pieces, including angle cuts, were cut by hand with a circular saw but look very good. Notes from the job that lead to my overall rating. 1) Aztec representative and workers communicated very well with me to discuss and decide on options for specific details to ensure the overall look and appearance was maintained. 2) Instead of removing the old siding, I was talked into installing the new sheets over the existing sheets. Because of this, I asked repeatedly to be informed of any damage or deterioration due to water intrusion (old siding had rotted in several locations) and to remove/repair any damage prior to installing the new sheets and trim. To my knowledge, this did not happen because I caught working covering up one location that needed repair. I was disappointed this was not brought to my attention. Were there other areas of damage that were covered up and not repaired? I'll never know. 3) Job was quoted with 2 coats of paint. Paint was sprayed and completed in 1 day. I asked how it was possible to apply 2 coats of paint in one day without letting the 1st coat dry. I was told, 2 passes with the sprayer was the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. I was not aware of this practice and not sure this really constitutes the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. While I noted that I would hire again, this would only be with closer oversight. The latter 2 issues left me with the opinion that the priority of the workers was to get the job done as quickly as possible with less emphasis on quality of work. While I have given a passing grade, there is opportunity for improvement."

"It went really well. They did a really good job. To me it seems that it's more on a commercial job instead of residential because these windows are pretty big. We're really happy with what they did. There was something that came up on the inside of our view where there was wood that needed to be painted or stained and that's something that they don't do. They should have communicated that upfront. They have referred me to someone else who they thought is good in painting or staining. That business was supposed to call me but didn't, but it's not Window Source's fault."

"Neil and his team recently replaced six windows at my house. Two in my study and four in my basement.  He also replaced an inner door and door jam and outer storm door for the side entrance. I have had Barrier replace 14 windows, two storm doors and one entry door over the years. I have always been satisfied. Barrier installations have always been first class. Neil has always been on sight during installations for quality control. There has never been a problem with any of the windows or doors Barrier has installed. I will use them again. In the case of the latest door installed; due to the rains that came last week, the installation had to be pushed back. I understood. I said I could wait for a couple of weeks if I had to. Neil made sure I got the door installed last Saturday when the weather broke for a day. I really appreciated his desire to keep this customer happy.
