"John Moore came out to my house (new construction) and we discussed what I was looking for in a deck, fence and paver patio.  I mentioned to him that I was getting bids from several other firms, but wasn't necessarily looking for the lowest price, rather the best fit.  Unlike other firms, Deckorators didn't give me a price until they could meet with me a second time (everyone else gave me a quote on the spot or via e-mail in 24/48 hours).  The quote I received for an aluminum fence was 2.5x the price I received from two other fencing companies.  Their initial price for the deck was 33K, 10K more than I eventually paid for the same exact specs from another top rated Angie's List company.  They eventually said they could do it for 26K, but given the price difference and recent reviews, I ended up working with another company.
