"My old hot water heater died, and a friend installed a new small 40 gal tank. But I never had hot water after that. I also had a leaking lead pipe. Patrick came and had to be a sleuth to try to determine the cause of the missing hot water. The tank was too small and not functioning, but the real problem was a crossed pipe somewhere in my 1890 house. He found the pipe location in the basement and put in a shut off valve, which gave most of the house hot water. He also put in a high quality 50 gallon tank, and repaired the leaking lead main. To completely fix the hot water, it will mean opening walls, so we left a small 1/2 bath sink and attic sink to be fixed at a later time (or not....).. This was all around Easter, but he put in long days to get it all done."

"We actually had called Emanuel Brothers first since their name was on the water heater. But, after the amount of time and money they quoted us I decided to check Angie's. We had John come out and take a look and he told us he could do the same work for almost $800.00 less! I can't say I didn't have some trepidation. First, just how is it possible to do so much less work than we were told would be necessary (we had 2 water heaters. Neither of which worked after nearly 20 years, that had to be removed first to make room). And, for so much less. Emanuel Brothers were so perplexed by our situation that they had to call the boss to come out and explain everything to us. But, John had this "no problem" kinda attitude. Both refreshing and disconcerting. But, in just a couple of hours he had not only delivered a new water heater, he had the other 2 removed and the new one installed. And its been working flawlessly.

"First and foremost, Triton answered their phone and then spent about 20 minutes via phone with me to explain everything in detail.  They then quoted me the best price of all 6 companies I called.  (I also used an Angie's List coupon, though).  I wasn't sure if my Rental Property needed the water heater replaced so Leo brought an extra one in the truck "just in case".  After replacing the one at my residence, when we arrived at my rental property, he walked me through every detail of why that location also needed a new water heater.  They also gave me a rockin' deal because I purchased two of them - and had them both installed on the same day.   A few days later, I learned that I accidentally wrote them a wrong amount on the check.  When Leo called to explain the situation, he was calm, kind, and - again - explained my error in detail without being nasty.  Although I felt like an idiot, they were very nice about my mistake, and I put another check into the mail to them on my next payday.  They handled a difficult situation very well, as many contractors would have played the blame game.

Any other person would tell you replace a unit when a part goes bad and the unit is 10 yrs old but no.
