I worked for a remodeling contractor in California in 1999 and a laborer/estimator for a design-build firm in Baton Rouge where I received my Bachelor of Science, Construction Management at LSU in 2003. I worked for a trucking company where I was the estimator and project manager for civil and marine projects. In 2005, I received my general contractors license while living on the coast in Mississippi. This where I formed a remodeling company, New Coast Construction Co. "He is willing to take on any project and then some. My honest feeling is that his enthusiasm somewhat outpaces his expertise and experience. He is a diligent worker and stays with the project. His painting went well though speed seems to trump care and preparation (He painted over some unsanded spackle repairs). My main problem was that instead of the two painters that were advertised, it was him and what I believe was his girlfriend who was inexperienced and sometimes just watched him paint. It should have been advertised as one painter and a helper. The price though was very reasonable and the finished product was adequate. He is likable and I believe honest and trustworthy. I would use him again especially if it was a project that just needed to be knocked out."

"Out rock wall was damaged in Helene and we were very blessed to have DeLeon Stoneworks and More to repair it. They took down the damaged section and rebuilt it to match the old wall. This type of craftsmanship is rare and very much admired and appreciated. The other bids were all some form of removing the wall and replacing it with cinder block and stone veneer or boulder type walls. This is built of stone and gravel and mortar inside and fits with our 1940's home style. The other bids were more than 2x Mr. De Leon's price. We are very satisfied with high quality construction, craftsman style, and a very competitive price."
