"While at first glance the work looks good the contractor could use some lessons on detail. Basically, CR is painting the tile with a durable, highly adhesive paint. When painting it is customary to remove from the wall fixtures that can be removed in order to paint "behind" them-- i.e. light fixtures, electrical plates, etc. CR did none of that. They merely taped over the fixtures and went to town. The result is that around all of those fixtures I can still see a thin border with the original blue/pink tile. Worse, we informed them that one of the light fixtures would definitely be replaced with another with a smaller footprint and they still painted around it so now we have a large blue border around that fixture. In addition, CR failed to properly coordinate work with the general contractor resulting in some tiles going unpainted entirely. Some of those unpainted tiles were eventually painted but not all of them. Our experience with the durability of the product is mixed. The work in the hall bathroom has stood up to heavy use. There has been very little chipping and zero peeling. However, in the master bathroom the shower floor began to peel up less than a year after the work was complete. We called CR and it came out to repair. That repair peeled up less than a year later. We called again and CR repaired it again. It peeled up again and we called again. This time I was informed that to properly repair the peeling they would need at least $300 additional dollars. This was quite frustrating given that the shower floor had never lasted more than the one year warranty. Rather than pay for a repair I felt should have been done for in the course of doing good business I made the repair myself. I stripped off all the old paint, scuffed and etched the tile, and then used a contrasting textured concrete paint to refinish the shower floor. I looks much better and thus far has stood up much better than the original work. Overall, the quality of the work could be better as well as customer service. The product seems to be good if applied properly."

"I cannot thank the Tub Company enough for their work! We had rust around the overflow of our bathtub that leaked through and caused damage to our first floor ceiling. We were told by others that there was nothing that we could do except replace the tub and estimates were around $5000! Then, thankfully someone mentioned to look into getting the tub refinished instead. I called The Tub Company (Tubco, Inc) and the owner Lenny answered right away, was so pleasant to talk with and assured me that his crew could help us out. The next day, the serviceman Eli showed up, right on time, and was as pleasant as could be. After a few hours, the tub looks brand new, no sign of rust, and within a couple of days we will be able to use the tub again. I would not hesitate to recommend TheTub Company to anyone with a similar situation!

"I contacted Home Advisor and Terry called me quite soon after that. He came to give me a bid on Saturday and we scheduled the work to be done the following Wednesday. The work involved replacing an outdoor freeze-free faucet by my barn so digging was necessary. Terry arrived with one other gentleman and they had the work done in about 2 hours. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. The ONLY negative thing I could say is that the other gentleman seemed to be in a big hurry and that the dirt put back around the faucet was kind of sloppily done. Not a big deal. I would definitely use ATK Home Services again."

They were very professional, and extremely hard working! They literally took lunch breaks and other than that worked the entire day without breaking. They were quiet as can be, they didn't have any music playing or even receive private phone calls. They cleaned up after themselves each evening before they left.
