"A tree fell into our in ground pool- the liner was ripped and all of the water in the pool was gone! The pool remained empty during the fall and winter months, creating a real mess. The severe weather left the bottom of our pool filled with leaves and mud- a real mess! It was too much for my husband to handle. I contacted Mirage pools. Mike, the owner of Mirage Pools contacted me immediately. We spoke over the phone, I sent pictures of the damage. Mike came out gave us an estimate to remove the debris, replace the liner and install a winter cover at the end of the summer, Mike never wavered from his original price quote despite the complicated clean up he encountered. He was always professional, always on time and was in constant communication via phone or text. Our pool liner was installed and it is absolutely beautiful. We also needed a new filter, a cost that I did not expect! Mike installed the new filter and allowed me to pay off the cost of the filter over 2 months. Where do you find service like this? Mirage Pools! Full service from liner to filter to winterizing and installation of a winter cover. I will definitely continue to work with Mirage Pools. ð ð ð ð ð The best! "Well, the weather conditions were not Ideal with the unusual snow on 4/12/25 followed by a week's worth of rain, so the project got off to a slow start due to muddy bedding conditions that required extra Sand for the bedding; however, on the third day the team of 3 worked 3 hours to complete the work entirely. This included spreading & compacting the 1 CY of sand and get the liner installed with all skimmers and discharge hose connections reattached with new gaskets! It really looks excellent! I have done this installation the last time and the work is not so easy to get that liner to laid flat but It is very flat. I don’t give high ratings easily."

"Our home project for 2019 included a major pool renovation. Our pool was approaching 20 years old and needed a new liner, Kooldeck, and light. We solicited several bids and chose S&R Pool and Spa after we determined they proposed the best value (price and all considerations) for our project. We just completed this project last week. "I’ve used S and R Pools of Manville for about three years and prior services were good. However, this year they simply did not meet prior expectations. I normally do not go out of my way to write reviews, unless I receive stellar service or horrible service. In this case Kevin the owner was completely defensive and tried pass my concerns back to me, the customer. For a business based on word of mouth in a highly competitive market for pool companies, I was shocked at the level of unprofessionalism and unwillingness to listen to a customer. Ironically I was getting ready to install a pool heater this year with S and R... needless to say, I’ll find someone else. By the way, do not confuse S and R Pools of Manville with storefront S and R Pools of Martinsville (a few miles away). The owner of that S and R is a fantastic person (fair and honest) and is well known to the community. I will continue to give him my business. UPDATE(08/14/2018): I gave S&R Pools another try and this time they really came through. We needed an emergency repair for one of our return lines and Kevin had his guys fix the problem immediately. Keep up the good work!"

"There rates to open & close pools is Fair & more reasonable than other companies I’ve used. Lester’s wife is a sweetheart. She gave us a quick appointment. Lester and his crew arrived on time and proceeded to close our pool in October 2017. I made my next appointment for the pool opening in May 2018 and everything went well. I’ve also proceeded with Lester to replace my pool cover in October 2018."
