"Around 2:30 on a Sunday, I got a call from my tenant: No water! (we have a well.) I called Rooter-Man's emergency line. Within a few minutes I got a callback from "Shane" (I think). The house is in Afton, he lives in Fredericksburg, around 2 hours away! He got to Afton by about 5 or 5:30. Shane checked out the well, eliminated all other possibilities and then called me: The pump needed replacing. By this time it was around six o'clock. He'd have to drive back to C'ville to get a new pump, and he'd have to pull the well! But after giving me the cost, he simply asked, "Should I go ahead and do it now?" I was stunned! Here it was, 6PM on a Sunday night. Pulling a well is no easy job, but he was willing to go ahead and do it right then and there! "Sure" I stammered. Around 10 o'clock, Shane called. They assessed the issue and cleared what they could, helped us to be able to still use the pipe until they could come out and permanently fix the issue, which was done first thing Monday morning.
