"Scheduling the visit was tough, but that was at least as much our fault as theirs. When they finally arrived they were in and out extremely quickly. The work was good quality but not very pretty. There was lots of plumbing cement smeared around the new pipe. The workers we met were both very polite and friendly, both seemed to know what they were talking about, and the job quality was of the very highest level.

"He checked the source of a leaky tub faucet. I had fixed the leak weeks earlier, but the leak returned. He has many years of experience as a plumber, but it took him a while to diagnose the problem, which he finally concluded was what I had proposed when he arrived. And he forgot to cover the open pipe with a bucket when I turned on the water and as a result, my bathroom floor was covered with a pool of water. Granted, it's just water, and he mopped it up with my towels, but he isn't real detail-oriented. Plus, his truck was a mess. I don't know how he can find anything. At the end of the day, I paid over $200 for his visit plus time (he was there more than two hours) and he didn't fix the problem. A few weeks later, we noticed water leaking below through garage ceiling below the tub. Another plumber immediately pointed out it was because there was no caulking around the plate and water was seeping behind it. How come Water Works didn't see that? I would not use him again. Not my kind of contractor.

"John did an excellent job!! He had to take out an entire shower, redo some of the plumbing, then tile the whole thing back. He made sure all of the plumbing was fixed correctly. He worked patiently to get all of our tile, accent pieces, pebble shower floor, fixtures, and shelves installed perfectly. He had to align spots in the wallbord to get the tile to lay correctly. He took his time to do it right and did a beautiful job. He also fixed a variety of other plumbing, etc issues we had. I highly recommend John and will use his company again."

"We needed the gutters cleaned on our historic, two-story home. The job was done quickly and thoroughly and the young man even reattached a piece of guttering that had pulled loose from the house. Our job was a bit more difficult than most because of the age of our house and how it is positioned on a rather steep hill. Also, our guttering has a screen guard and some of it runs directly into underground drainage pipes that sometimes clog. We were very pleased with this service and would recommend the $49Handyman service for a wide variety of home repairs.

"Anthony's is great! I called and needed my chimney swept and inspected, Anthony was there within a couple of hours of my phone call. Very professional and did not make a mess of my house while cleaning the chimney. After inspection we had a crack in our flue. Anthony told us how he'd fix it and said give me a call and I'll fit you in. Called Monday and was back at my house Tuesday to fix the cracked flue. Only took an hour and again my house stayed clean while Anthony was working on my chimney. Would recommend to anyone!!!"
