"GFG responded within an hour to a quote request on Home Advisor and owner Mr. Drake provided me with a quote that was $500 less than the quote from the Home Depot contractor. Mr. Drake was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions and concerns. After I decided to upgrade to a better water heater with a longer warranty the GFG quote was still $300 cheaper than the Home Depot quote. We scheduled an installation for the following Monday even though Mr. Drake was ready to do it the next morning. At 8:17 Monday morning Frank showed up with the new water heater and immediately went to work. Frank was very personable, easy to talk to, answered all my questions, and explained what he was going to do before he did it. I like to learn and Frank was an excellent teacher and did not mind my intrusions. Since Prattville (and maybe the entire state) now require temperature expansion device (tank or valve) on new water heater installs I was a little concerned about where the tank would go and how it would look. Frank had to do some re plumbing to accommodate the new expansion tank and the 2.5" taller water heater. Everything looks great and the setup looks much more professional and squared away than the job done by the previous plumber. I am a very picky person and this installation exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Frank and GFG Contractors. Also,according to Frank, Mr. Drake is a Marine Veteran so that is just another reason that I am happy I hired GFG Contractors."

My 16 years old natural gas water heater, located in my attic, had to be replaced asap. I did not want the new gas water heater installed in the attic for peace of mind, so I contacted several companies about installing it on floor level in my garage storage room. Burt Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning came to the rescue with a very reasonable price and assurance that my new water heater can be placed in the garage storage room. Mr. Burt did an EXCELLENT job with rerouting the gas line, the water line, drainpipe, and other things from the attic to the storage room. "I called concerning low water pressure and no hot water to the back of my home. When they arrived I told them there was low water pressure and the back of the home was not getting hot water. The checked in the attic and checked the temperature on the water heater. Not one time did they go to the back of the home where the problem was. They told me everything was fine on the water heater by checking the sink directly under the heater for temperature, not the area I was having problems in. Furthermore I kept stating I was having a low pressure issue. Finally they went to the street and dug up the adjustment valve. The issue I have here is the fact they did not have a gauge to check the water pressure, which is the main reason I called. Had I not had a gauge this work could not of been accomplished. After they turned up the pressure to over 100psi, they informed me they are not responsible for any damage they may cause. I informed them the pressure needs to be at the proper level so as not to damage any of my plumbing. Once everything was set the bill was paid, no receipt was given and they went on their way."
