This technician told me there was "no hope", and that the only solution was to purchase a new waser. Given the age and quality of the washer, I just didn't buy that. I was right. It could be repaired, and Phill did so the same day, for a lower service fee. Unfortunately an expensive part was required, but still the overall expense was lower than buying a new washer."

He repaired it after informing us what the issue was and then tested the washer to make sure it was repaired. It has been working and is great. A previous repairman gave us a diagnosis over the phone that it was the motherboard and said it would be the $250 part and another $80-$100 for the repair...and then did not show for the appointment. Our bill with N & J APPLIANCE REPAIR LLC was $60.00!! He found that the drain was completely clogged and it was triggering error codes, so we needed no parts and he only charged for his time....and a very fair charge as well!! This kind of honesty and service I thought was a thing of the past and we could not recommend them more!!"
