"Needed new toilet after 40 year old toilet seal broke. Supplier gave them the wrong tank and they had to go back and get the right one. Other than that, everything went smoothly."

"Plumbing issues are never something I really give much thought to, but when they happen, they require immediate attention. I walked out to my garage this morning to find my entire garage covered in water and smelling like sewage. Honestly I had no idea even where to begin, all I could see was the potential damage from water and the stench of waste. I called Liberty and they were to my house in under an hour. Steven was very knowledgeable and had the problem under control in no time at all. In addition, he even noticed an additional problem with my water heaters expansion tank and was quick to point it out, saving me hundreds of dollars on replacing it. I am very thankful that Liberty was there, my stress levels were through the roof and now everything is good again. I highly recommend this company; it is not very often that you can be completely happy with the service provided. Today I am very happy and back to my normal life. Thanks again Steven."

"He did a very nice job, top quality, and just exactly what I needed. He was prompt and professional. No plumbing job is cheap these days ~ I don't care who you use. I will definitely call Jim when I need any plumbing done.

"We just purchased our home and this being our first summer in a hot climate, were relying on a very old swamp cooler that only ran on low and our heating unit was only mean to push air to around 900 sq feet. Our home is 2020 sq feet! Did some research and found Home Comfort Services and am so glad I did! They promptly came out to see what our situation was and gave us a bottom line estimate. A very fair price too. Two days later they removed and hauled off our swamp cooler, insulated and capped the roof, hauled off our old heater, installed a new one and installed AC; all within a matter of hours. Very diligent, professional and hard working. When it came time to pay after the work was completed there were no extra or hidden charges. They stand by their word. I will be using them again for maintenance and all other business I need in their field."

"The service call was placed on 12/10; vendor callled same day but was unable to respond until 12/14. He was prompt and declared the faucet was unreparable.. I asked if he could not try to repair but he said he cold not do that because if it din'fix the problem he could not replace the faucet. He stated that the replacement would not be exact but similar. My faucet had separaate lever for turn on/off but he said the replacement would probably be part of the sprout. We did not really appreciate this but he offered no probable favorable solution.. Not happy with response time but realize a close to weekend call caused this. Did not appreciate not even attempting repair."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Montrose, CO

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
