"We're very pleased with the final result, but oh what an ordeal to get there. First of all, Gary subcontracted the installation without telling us. The sub brought the wrong window because Gary didn't tell him which one was required by our contract. Worst of all, Gary's installation drawing was wrong. Based on the drawing, the sub installed the window too high, requiring a lot of re-work. The sub told me that Gary wouldn't pay for any additional time or materials to fix the error. I ended up paying extra directly to the sub so he could get the supplies needed to complete the job correctly. When there were issues, Gary could not be reached by me nor his subcontractor. He simply would not return phone calls. Although the sub's workmanship was very good, he was very unreliable. We spent several days waiting for him and he didn't show up nor call. Also, he should have caught the error in Gary's drawing much sooner. After the foundation was cut, a simple pull of a tape measure would have shown that there wasn't enough room for the window and a 10" header. Start to finish it was 15 days to complete a 2-day job. During that time they worked on six different days for a total of about 38 hours."

"They came in. Double checked the measurements. Went back to the truck. Cut the pieces they needed and were done. Very quick. Only minor issue is that they don't look as great as the mailer or website. Don't get me wrong, they're not bad, just not as clean looking in the advertisement. <br />"

"SUPER. After submitting my original request for a quote with all pertinent measurements, I received a quote within 2 days of my submission. After checking the measurements on the quote, I discovered some errors in my measurements and contacted the company. They returned my call in 1 day. After I gave them the changes, they emailed me a new copy of the quote, the price was the same but reflected my changes. I approved the quote and submitted payment method. 3 weeks later the door was delivered to my house. Door was manufactured of 12 gauge steel and coated with oxide primer coating as promised by the company. The measurements I supplied to Steelway were adhered to exactly, it was a perfect fit. Completely professionally manufactured in a very reasonable period of time. The cellar door was shipped from PA to GA via truck and arrived without any damage. I could not have been more pleased with the end product. The fit was good that it took less than 1 hour to install it. I would highly recommend Steelway Cellar Doors. The price was only slightly higher than any of the available standard doors which would not fit. I would give them 10 Stars if that was available."

The install quality was very good and I being somewhat picky, was very surprised and satisfied with the work. After work was done and inspection, there was no need for a call back. They tarped sides of house as the roof was being removed. They completed installation by 2pm. They were neat, orderly and cleaned up my property as well as adjacent neighbors. They spent significant time with magnets going over the lawn to ensure they captured all loose nails. <br /> They returned everything to its proper place and were off site by 3pm <br />"

"We have used Ton Adams twice to install windows. Our interactions leading up to installation were positive. Expect to wait for an installation date though. It did take a while to get dates on the calendar both times. The crew lead by Jay is awesome, and we requested them multiple times. They are professional, friendly and personable. They took the time to do the installation correctly, and they also took the time to talk to us about issues or info about the windows. There were a couple minor issues. One involved a delivered screen that was not the right size. The other involved a broken piece of one window. Both issues were addressed professionally and fixed in a reasonable amount of time. As mentioned it can take some time to get things scheduled."

"Mike came out and did a thorough inspection of our 4 ft. high concrete crawl space.  He spent a lot of time with us, answering all our questions and explaining everything.  We decided what we wanted done, and a week later someone came out to seal up all the many open-vented windows and install and vent a dehumidifier.  We are very happy with the results and would call this service provider again. <br />"
