"Nightmare experience with pump and heater installation! 1) Service technician, Jeff, took my original pump without asking my permission. 2) Service technician, Jeff, cut the sand filter discharge line to allow dolly access for the heater installation AND did not replace the discharge line. 3) Service technician, Jeff, did not return as promised to complete the install the following day. I waited 6 days for Service Tech, Jeff, to return with parts and Leslie's Customer Service Dept just informed me Service technician, Jeff, marked my installation 'COMPLETE'. 4) 6 days (and counting) without a working pump and heater."

"Lowes deserves less than 0 stars for a paid job of nearly $2000. We ordered interior doors and installation on 10/20/2023. They lost the order. The lead assessment was never done. We finally got an install date for 12/1. They called on the 1st to cancel due to rain. We called them back and got an install date of 12/6. They texted on the 5th (today) to reschedule for the 14th. We called today to ask why. No help there; they lost our order AGAIN but promised to look into it. We were on hold for 18 minutes and then they hung up. We called back yet again. The next representative was rude and wouldn't listen. Another 13 minutes wasted with no resolution. Our next step is going back to the store for a refund. Enough is ENOUGH."

If you’re not using the hot tub, you should keep the temperature around 100 degrees. If you lower it too much, or shut it off completely, you’ll waste much more energy—and time—to heat up all that water to your ideal temperature. In the summer, you may want to lower it a couple of degrees more to prevent overheating.
You should change hot tub water every three to four months to maintain optimal cleanliness and performance. More frequent changes may be necessary with heavy usage or if you notice water quality issues like cloudiness, unusual odors, or excessive foaming. When draining your hot tub, take the opportunity to clean all surfaces and components that are normally submerged to prevent biofilm accumulation and ensure proper operation.
The average lifespan of a hot tub can range from five to 20 years. If you have a lower-quality hot tub and neglect routine maintenance, the hot tub will be on the lower end of that range. However, if you invest in a higher-quality material, perform maintenance, and take care of hot tub repairs quickly, you can enjoy your hot tub for closer to 20 years.
