"JLC (Jose) did a super job on everything we hired him to do. We initially had him remodel our kitchen and it came out so well, we had him come back and remodel our main bathroom. He did a fantastic job and was focused on every detail. Since we were planning on selling the house, we even hired him to paint the exterior and do some additional interior jobs like fixing some wiring and painting several rooms. Whether it is a small or large job, he is great to work with and generally a wonderful person. Had we not sold the house (Thanks, Jose!) and moved, we wouldn't hesitate to hire him again."

Finding someone who was willing to work on a small repair to the cupola of my steep roof was proving to be a challenge until I found Chris Marshall on Angie's List. When I contacted Chris he came to my home the very same day to give me a firm estimate so that I could budget for this repair before winter. His estimate was fair and complete. He was very friendly and personable but what impressed me most was how thorough he was in explaining how he would repair the cupola. His detailed explanation made me feel confident I would not have to make more repairs for years to come. Chris was very prompt about answering my questions and returning my calls to schedule the project. Chris understood the urgency of repairing this portion of my roof before winter weather arrived. On the first sunny day that I had room my schedule, he arrived promptly at 3 p.m. as we agreed because I wanted to be here while he worked. I was impressed with how efficiently he completed this project. Within an hour and 20 minutes Chris and his helper we're able to remove the existing shingles, nails and debris from the cupola. He installed new ice and water shield barrier and new architectural shingles and finished it off with ridge caps and replaced my original weather vane. More importantly every piece of debris was removed and picked up so I didn't have to clean up nails or broken shingles. I could not believe how carefully and quickly they worked as a team to get this job done. I am so relieved that this part of my roof is repaired. I have programmed his number in my phone for any of my home contracting needs. And he will be the first contractor I call for any future jobs that I have. I would not hesitate to refer him to any of my family or friends. His prices are fair. He is trustworthy. He is efficient and thorough. "During the estimate, the representative was extremely thorough in analyzing the insulation and overall energy use.  He also provided me with cost saving opportunities so the energy audit was free.  I was happy with the solutions provided.  Many did not involve any cost on my part.  I decided to have them do the insulation.  I needed a specific time several months later.  They were accommodating to my schedule and arrived exactly when I wanted them.  They completed the work in the time frame that was given to me.  The workmen were punctual and polite.  Each day they cleaned up after themselves.  Some work had to be done later due to some necessary drying.  This was done without much effort on my part.  The chance for energy saving tax breaks was explained as well as current programs that gave me a discount.  One such program had a glitch in it - it took 10-12 weeks.  When I called the office 12 weeks later reporting that the rebate had not arrived, the staff got on the matter.  I had my rebate in a few weeks.

All in all, I am very pleased with Green Homes America.  I have dealt with many home projects over the years and I consider them to be my best experience.  I recommend them highly."
