"Wow! Rooter Pro Plumbing 𠪠 is absolutely unprecedented in service in quality! I am amazed at how quickly the phone was answered and how unbelievable sweet and professional the dispatch staff is!! They quickly made adjustments to their schedule to get an emergency crew out to provide relief. The sewer main line was blocked completely, and the images and video Jay and his crew presented to me as a homeowner was very reassuring that this was in fact the cause of the total main failure. Nothing in the house would drain, but blessings to Rooter Pro Plumbing for making this plumbing work again 𠤣 !! Rooter Pro Plumbing provided me an excellent warranty to assure me of their workmanship and craftsmanship. Their work is very clean and they even called me out to look at the replacement pipe before backfilling. I will most certainly, undoubtedly use RPP again!"

"Our technician Tim was fantastic. My wife needed to meet G Force at her mom's house to supervise repairs, and they did a great job keeping her informed of their ETA so she had plenty of time to travel to meet them. Once at the house, Tim discovered an issue with the concrete slab where the original toilet sat, which prevented a safe and secure install of the new toilet. He and his supervisor worked with us to recommend a repair and schedule a return visit that worked with my wife's schedule. On the second visit, Tim repaired the concrete, installed the new toilet and adjusted the height of the cutoff valve. Plus, he took a few extra minutes to walk the house (inside and out) with my mother-in-law to check the plumbing to ensure everything was in working order and confirm she knew what to do in the event of a water leak. He even took the time to label the majority of the valves in the house to make things easier for her. In looking for a plumber, we certainly found cheaper options, but without a doubt, we will phone G Force again (and request Tim as our technician)."

"Our hot water heater began leaking from inside of the unit.  The existing unit was very old and needed to be replaced.  After researching Angie's List, I made a purchase for a replacement hot water heater with Henson Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing.  Henson Mechanical reached out to me later that day to schedule my replacement, and to verify information about my existing setup.  They were able to send an installer out the very next day.
Prior to his visit, Kurt Schmeisser called to inform me that he would be the person to install the new water heater.  Kurt was prompt, and extremely professional.  During the removal of the old unit, and the installation of the new unit, Kurt made sure not to damage anything in my house.  He made sure to put down plastic over runs of carpet in my basement to ensure that it was not soiled.
Since it is now code, Kurt installed an expansion water tank.  This was included in the initial purchase price of the unit, and was not an unexpected and added expense.
Before he departed, Kurt showed me how to manipulate the temperature of the tank.  He then demonstrated how to ignite the pilot light if there was ever a need.
Through the entire process, Kurt was very polite and professional.  I would consider using Henson Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing for future projects.

"I called DNM Contracting Inc to come out to my  home after my water heater had failed late Friday night. They came out and diagnosed the problem and did NOT charge me after hour pricing to change out my water heater.  They hauled off the old water heater and were such a pleasant group of people to work with.  Kristi quoted me over the phone the cost to change out the heater and there was absolutely NO fluctuation in her pricing once they were on site.  Will never use another company for my plumbing needs but this one and I've put a review in our neighborhood for everyone to use them as well!!!!!!

"I recently bought a 3-year-old previously owned home. One shower and one tub were draining very slowly. After several days of trying to speed things up with drain openers, it became clear that I needed a professional. I unexpectedly got a day off from work and began calling plumbing companies. They were all booked up, but kept referring me to other plumbers (thank you!). Wendell from Drain-O-Might ended up coming out. He cleared both drains quickly at a very fair price. That is awesome enough, but Wendell was a super guy. He talked to me about everything he was doing, taught me a few tricks, and even walked around my unfinished basement and the outside of the house telling me what was done well and things that would eventually need some attention. Taking the extra time to educate your customers is going above and beyond. Hire this guy! He will do the job right at a fair price and treat you well to boot! Thank you, Wendell!"

"Within first 15 minutes, supposedly identified the sources of my city water waste - two leaking commode tank water release flappers. When they inspected the kitchen sink faucet problem, they said it couldn't be fixed and needed replacement. So, within 15-20 minutes they were finished. They said they would fix the leaking toilets for $50 extra but needed to go to Home Depot to get parts.
I rescheduled them for later the same day to finish the work. They came, installed the parts and left. That night I noticed a constant leaking of water in one of the "repaired" toilets. Called the Capital City main phone number and the owner answered. After telling him the problem he said that someone would be out the next day. He, himself arrived the next afternoon and made adjustments to stop the water leakage. He apologized about the mishap and spent roughly 20 extra minutes talking about things in general (rapport building for the sake of Angie's List?). While talking he happened to mention how busy they were doing another Angie's list DEAL for bathroom tile work and general renovations. I asked him to look at my Master bathroom shower and was planning to consider giving him the work. I wanted to tear out all the bathroom tile and replace it as well as to rebuild and enlarge the shower. He said he would be happy to get back with me with a general estimate as to the cost of the bathroom renovation we discussed. I still have not heard anything about that estimate from Capital City Plumbing.
AND, the toilet continued to leak! I was able to get it to stop by turning over the flapper attachment clip and reattaching the flapper. Though I still, occasionally, hear that toilet's water running and was told by the Capital City owner that if the problem persisted he would return to replace all the toilet tank equipment, I do not feel comfortable calling Capital City Plumbing to address the issue.

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Moreland, GA

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
