"Our recent home remodel was pretty extensive. I knew I wanted to change some things, improve some things, and fix some problems with our house, but I didn't have any idea how to get there. From my initial meetings with Tony, I could tell that he was comfortable with the scope of the project, and that I would be able to work with him through all the challenges that I figured would come with a project of this size. Now that we've finished our project, I can say I'm glad we went with OM Construction. The price was fair, the guys were onsite 6 days a week from start to finish, and the quality of work was very good. "Joe Kincaid is a great contractor.  I first met Joe back in Fall of 2014 when I was looking at contractors to do a remodel of a home that I had just purchased.  The home was built in 1959 and many parts of it were original.  I wanted to upgrade the electrical box and grounding as well as replace a few of the lights.  There were a some other items I was pricing out with him, such as a small roof repair and a small bathroom remodel.  

It was on a Sunday morning, when Joe called me around 8:00 AM that my simple remodel changed completely.  We were about a week into the project.  Fortunately, Joe stopped by the house that morning early to check up on the work progress.  When he arrived, he found that my cold water line had burst under the house overnight.  The entire house was under several inches of water.  Joe was instrumental in helping me get the repairs started by first contacting a flood/mold remediation company to dry out the house.  

In the end, I had to do a complete home remodel.  Every room was affected.  Including what we were originally planning on renovating, Joe replaced the flooring (tile and wood laminate), baseboards, drywall, painting, electrical plugs, breaker box, roofing repairs, new shower tiling in the master and new shower/tub in the 2nd bathroom, new vanities in both bathrooms, new cabinets and counters in the kitchen and much more.  Joe got the work done on time and on budget.  If I could change anything, I would have used Joe for the copper re-pipe I had to do inside the house after the flood.  Even then, Joe noticed and helped take care of issues that the plumber left unfinished.  Joe became my eyes and ears during the project.  His communication was great!

Earlier this year, I had another water line problem at the house.  This time the water main line was leaking underground between the street and my house.  My first call was to Joe.  He stopped by that day and called me with his recommendations.  We decided to replace an area of the copper pipe that was leaking.  Hopefully this will be the solution as the rest of the pipe looked OK.  It was certainly a lot less expensive than replacing the whole line. Joe was thorough and did a great job both times I have used him.  I like how he is willing to give options to meet my budget and best of all, I trust what he says."

"The service went well.  They tore off the rain gutters and fixed some other things.  They did a good job prepping.  The owner came out and was friendly and courteous.  He explained things well.  It took two and a half days to paint.  They do good work. They are fairly quick and good to work with."

"If there was a field for an A+ rating I would give it to Brian and Protek.  It was absolutely the best contractor experience I have had and I have done many projects over the last 12 years.  Brian and his crew do first rate work.  Brian is very responsive.  He answered all of my texts promptly.  I bought the deal for the countertops through Angies List.  During demolition it was discovered that the existing cabinets were in bad shape.  I was dealing with a time limit as I was having a big party in two weeks.  Brian built me new bottom cabinets which are absolutely beautiful.  Brian worked overtime to complete the project often starting early and staying late.  The work is beautiful.  Many of my friends have lamented about their kitchen contractor taking months to complete the project.  This was not the case with Protek.  Brian and his crew were considerate.  They cleaned up every day and did not jam the trash and debri into my trash can.  Protek also does the work for an affordable price all the while providing their clients with first rate service and product.
Protek is licensed and insured. This is important for any homeowner.  I cannot recommend this company enough.  The counter tops are beautiful as is the back splash and cabinets."
