"Mario was quick to come out and assess the work needed, was able to schedule me in very soon, and did a thorough job installing the extra outlets. Was very pleasant (and so was Amber, the receptionist!) and I will be hiring Allied again for my electrical work."

"We had them install 2 dedicated outlets upstairs in our house. They did a great job. They were very courteous and even wore shoe covers when moving around inside the house. Kurt was prompt with both the estimate and the work. Very nice company to work with."

"I've hired Chad for several jobs of varying size and complexity, all of which have been done with excellent timeline, quality, and price. He installed electrical for a hot tub and tesla charger. Both of which required work in the electrical box, upgrading breakers, long wire runs, and conduit. He would always follow all codes and even installed convenient extra outlets whenever possible. Most recently, he installed heat tape on my roof, as well as outdoor receptacles to plug them in. Since then, I have not had to hire people to shovel snow off my roof. I highly recommend."

Customers say: Terrific value

"She's well trained. She'll see hidden hazards that you don't see and you're not aware of. She can pretty much handle anything electrical. She will get up in the attic. I have never had any problems with the work she's performed. I am definitely a satisfied customer. And I have referred her to friends (and they've been happy with her.) Definitely good to have in your network."

FAQs for electrical switches, outlets & fixtures install or repair projects in Mormon-Lake, AZ

To select and hire an electrician for your light switch installation, start by evaluating candidates as you would for any skilled position. Ask detailed questions, request a written quote, and verify their licensing credentials. This careful screening prevents unexpected fees and ensures every aspect of the installation, including any drywall repairs, complies with code.

A light switch can malfunction due to compromised wiring or overheating conditions. Faulty connections and excess heat diminish the switch’s performance. If you hear crackling, popping, or hissing sounds when toggling the switch, this indicates active electrical faults that pose a safety hazard and demand immediate professional inspection. Prompt attention prevents further damage and ensures reliable operation.

Installing a light switch takes 30 minutes or less, on average. The installation time depends on the switch type, with dimmer switches requiring additional time compared to standard on-off switches. While the hardware replacement might be completed in 15 minutes, it's essential to adhere to safety protocols, like turning off the circuit breaker and verifying there's no power, for a safe and code-compliant installation.
