"Highly recommend! Extremely professional and efficient. We had some pet damage to the carpet in our office. They removed all the old carpet and pad, sealed the floor to block odors, and then reinstalled new pad and carpet. They completed the job in about an hour and the carpet looks amazing! We’re very pleased!"

"I got two estimates and for the type and quality of carpet we wanted Brewer came in just about $30 lower than the other estimate. Brewer also said the work could be done in one day whereas the other company said 2 days due to a drain we have on the lower level and the tack strips needing to be glued instead of nailed. The installers were thorough and quick. I was told it would be a long day of work but it only took them about 6 hours from start to finish. Kevin Brewer came out to check on things after the installers arrived. The installers worked straight through and after they left I found a patch of carpet where they had dripped some adhesive. I called Kevin Brewer immediately and the installer came right back out and fixed it. The carpet looks absolutely wonderful and is great quality. My only complaint is that the installers left nails on the floor in our laundry room, bathroom and garage floor. I wasn't happy to have to clean up after them. Overall a good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to call Brewer for future flooring needs."

"It went well.  We had 2 handymen arrive.  One had recently injured his hand and it was wrapped.  He tried to assist with repairs, but went out to the truck after a couple of hours.  I would have been concerned about not getting all the "hours" we paid for, but we actually ran out of tasks for them to complete.  They were extremely efficient and we got everything we needed accomplished (and then some!).   The workmanship was good.  We did notice after they left that the caulking in the bathroom wasn't as precise as we'd like it.  The old caulk wasn't removed before caulking.  However, it was poor communication on our part.  They did exactly what we asked int he bathroom.
We do plan to use them in the spring to help with repair/replace a back door adn we will have the entire bathroom caulked then.

"The job went well. Crew did the repairs and siding replacement, and subbed the painting to a firm that did a great job (Crew had told us the painting would be subbed out). When there was a problem with some of the siding repairs, Crew fixed the problem at no charge, and apologized. After the sub was done with the painting, Crew stopped by to check the work and make sure we were happy with it. Any time we called with a question or concern, they addresed it quickly and resolved problems as soon as possible. Every job will have its surprises or problems -- I expect that. What matters is the way it's handled when something does come up. Crew always handles problems quickly and completley. The final cost was a little higher than the original estimate, but that was becuase of unexpected problems and becuase we added a third color to the paint scheme after the initial quote."

"

Indiana Restoration cleaned the carpets in our home.   There was a lot of white carpet that had not been cleaned in many years and they took their timeto make sure it all came clean.  They were very professional and accommodating to our needs.  We were very happy with the job IR did on our carpets!!

FAQs for carpet repair, refasten, or stretch projects in Morristown, IN

Removing a rug costs around $0.40 to $0.50 per square foot. This includes the fee for a contractor to roll up the rug and haul it away in a vehicle for disposal or recycling. If they need to move furniture, they might charge an additional $0.25 to $0.30 per square foot of furniture.

If your carpet has minor damage—like a single area that requires stretching, patching, or cleaning—it might be less expensive to pay for carpet repair than remove and replace it. Repairing carpet costs around $210 per project.

The cost of carpet cleaning is about $190 for a three-bedroom home, so it’s a good idea to have your carpet cleaned at least once a year. But most carpeting only lasts 10 years. If your carpet is nearing the end of its life span, it might be more cost-effective to remove and replace your carpet than to clean and repair it. The average cost to install a new carpet is about $1,800.

Search our directory of carpet removal companies and services to find an affordable, screened contractor near you. All HomeAdvisor listings are vetted, reviewed, and rated by homeowners, so you can be sure to find a local pro qualified for your project. Get at least three quotes to compare prices and the timeline for your project.

Commercial carpet removal usually costs on the lower end of the carpet removal price range, around $1.10 per square foot or even less. Carpet installation contractors often offer discounted rates for larger projects, like commercial carpet removal and installation. Similarly, you might be able to negotiate a lower residential carpet removal cost if the carpet is pulled up throughout your entire home.

Most cities accept old carpets as bulk trash, but you may need to schedule a special pickup and prepare the carpet properly. Remove any nails or glue residue, cut the carpet into manageable pieces, and roll and secure them. Alternatively, you can take your old carpet to a local recycling center for a small fee, where it can be processed and repurposed.

Yes, you can remove carpet yourself if you're ready for a labor-intensive task. DIY carpet removal requires heavy lifting and tools like utility knives, pliers, and pry bars. The process is generally straightforward but time-consuming for stapled-down carpet. If your carpet is glued down or you're worried about damaging the subfloor, hiring a professional is best to ensure the job is done safely and efficiently.
