"Mike and Jim did an outstanding job leveling, reinforcing and and structurally improving my mother's deck. They made certain that my 90 year old mother could safely navigate outdoors on the deck which is her very favorite place to be! I am beyond satisfied with this finished Deck repair project by Mike and Jim of Tri-state Home Repair & Maintenance. They have exceeded all our expectations!"

"Good communications with Brian who did a great job repairing our front yard after we had some work done to repair a water line leak. Job was done well under the estimates had I received from other landscapers."

"Jose and his team did a great job. They power washed the house, fixed the trim, and painted everything. We think it looks great!"

"Our floor company had removed the existing original carpeted floor in our master bath to discover damaged subfloor surrounding the toilet area which needed replaced before they could complete the new tile floor. Because of our past experiences with J & M, we called James who was able to squeeze us in the next working day.  After James and an assistant gutted and replaced the damaged area of subfloor, James didn't feel comfortable billing us for the eventual amount of work so I told him to think about it and email us a bill.

Well he thought about it and said if we didn't mind dropping off a battery charger they'd forgotten to their nearby office, we'd be all square - no bill!  Ordinarily, you'd be able to push me over with a feather after such a turn of events but after having James complete 2 previous quality  building projects for us and getting to know him and his people, we weren't totally surprised.  A 'quality' contractor doesn't always translate to quality 'people' but in the case of J & M, it does.
We've got at least 2 more home projects planned for the not-too-distant future (which James knows about) and there's no one else we'd consider calling for either advice or estimates."

"This is a father and son team of extremely knowledgeable and skilled woodworkers.    They were so flexible that they actually rearranged other clients to help me get doors installed in time for a graduation party.   They bring all their own equipment and have more woodworking equipment at their shop.  They took one of the large posts back to their shop to split because it required a specialized saw.  It was a 2 day project.   Everything was installed and looks seamless and professional.   The son also knows a lot about granite, so that was helpful when making decisions about what legs and braces to put on the granite.   On top of great work at a great price, these two are just really nice people.    I would hire them for any remodel or new construction project large or small.

"The project went really well. The breadth of services is very impressive and the work is high quality. We have worked with these guys before and really like the work. They are not inexpensive but you get high quality individuals on site who do great work and take care of the property even when you are not there to supervise. Dave does a great job in planning the job and making suggestions for design and implementation - some of these improve the job overall while others can save you money in the end. The flooring and closet work was completed by subcontractors that Classy works with and they were also great to work with and we were happy with the work. We would highly recommend the company."

"overall paint job looked great. Ceiling however in kitchen needed to be painted several times.

"From their office customer service, to their onsite crew, and from their follow up on the services performed..they did an excellent job all around. They completed the job the day of, even with running into an unexpected repair that my roof/chimney needed. They were able to fix that and stay right on schedule. Also, the business owner came back personally at the end of the day to inspect the work himself. All was done with the utmost quality. And all debris in the yard was cleaned up carefully after the job was completed. I would recommend them to anyone needing any work done on their home."
