His comments and suggestions made us feel like we could trust him to do whatever was needed to update our 1960's home. We thought his quote was reasonable when we compared it to the other contractor. <br /> Jim started on our job right away and juggled his schedule to meet most of our needs. We didn't have the kitchen cabinets ordered when he started, but he did the demolition and electrical work so that the plastering could be scheduled. He even worked a Sat & Sun to be ready for them. We knew going in that he would be starting another lengthy job so  there was a little delay once the cabinets did arrive but we anticipated that. He juggled work between the two jobs to our satisfaction. I wouldn't recommend this to everyone, but it worked for us because we wanted to do most of the painting ourselves. <br /> Jim also helped find us an electrician to replace the outdated panel we had. Along with this replacement, Jim helped pull old <br /> wiring that we found in the basement area (a DIY job from the previous owner) and installed new lights and outlets in this area. <br /> Even though we were not living in the house during the remodel, Jim and crew were good about cleaning up at the end of each day. We had already painted and carpeted the rest of the house, so we appreciated not having dirt everywhere. <br /> We would recommend Jim's work and will contact him in the spring to get a quote on a deck we're planning. <br />"

"It went fine. The sewer had been backing up and I had a plumbing company out that made things worse. A friend with a tiling company recommended Litwillers. They gave a ball park estimate. It turned out that the plug was under the street and I had clay tile under my drive, so the problem was more involved and not what was expected. They kept me updated on what they were doing and advised me of my options. They recommended another company whose name I do not remember to come to use air to clean out under the street. This worked and I can do that many times compared to what it would have cost to rip the street up, as I am responsible for the line until it hits the main. They also advised replacing the lines under the driveway before I redo it and gave a ballpark estimate so I can plan accordingly. Their supervisor came and checked their work after they were done."

"Re-roofed quickly, but we still have have a problem with water run-off from the roof. There is now a "lake" on the ground in front of my dining room window every time it rains (was not there prior). Apparently, the diversion hardware was not reapplied to the roof to divert the water or perhaps the holes at the top of my gutter covers may have been covered by the new roof tiles when they were applied. Whatever the cause, one person returned twice to attempt to resolve the problem, but it's still happening and they haven't returned again, or called, to ensure that the runoff has been alleviated. Last week we had .5 - .75 inch of rain over night in Peoria and my 20 gallon tub I have placed on the ground was overflowing from the runoff from the roof! not acceptable."
