"This has been one of the best experiences we've had when dealing with home repair/improvement in 61 years!! The sales rep explained everything to us about the gutter guards and gutters in general. The price was much more reasonable than we expected. In fact, we got a quote from another company earlier that was so expensive-we decided to not install gutter protection at all!! But we kept our appointment with LeafBusters and so glad we did. We also got a price from them on a much needed downspout on one gutter end of our garage and had LeafBusters install that as well. "The job started with us needing someone to replace some siding on the chimney due to water leaking in behind the siding causing
deterioration and paint peeling off of the siding. The job was relatively small and consequently we contacted several qualified contractors and they were not willing to even come and scope out our job. Somebody referred us to Maximus and when I called and
talked to Eric, he was willing to take on the project even though it was relatively small. When he showed up to evaluate the situation and give an estimate for the job, he discovered that the cause of our problem was that we had a concrete cap around our chimneys that had cracked and separated and allowing water to seep in and deteriorate the trim boards and siding. We agreed to have him replace the siding and trim boards and to replace the chimney chase because his quote was very reasonable. During this same visit, I was asking him about the condition of the shingles on the roof because they had been in place for 20 years. They were showing signs of wear but he said they could last another year or two. I inquired as to the cost of him roofing the house too while he was doing the other jobs for us and that quote seemed very reasonable so I agreed to that job as well. He finished the total project today in less than a week and everything looks really good. He maintained the schedule that he promised and he was on site nearly every day to make sure things were running smooth. We will definitely call Maximus again when the need arises.

"We obtained 6 bids to replace our roof. Caliber's bid was very competitive in price. It was a very difficult decision as to which company to select since all bidders were highly valued on Angie's List. We have a larger home plus a workshop that was in need of shingles. Spring rains made it difficult to schedule a date but with a 3 day window of clear weather the job was started at 8 a.m. and was completed at the end of the second day at 6 p.m. Workiing past 8 p.m. on the first day the 10 man crew was able to lay 103 squares of shingles in the two days. We were concerned about the hundreds of plants around our property being damaged and made that a priority. Chris the supervisor on the job was extremely helpful and kept the work moving along. "They basically did the inspection, but didn't repair anything at that time until we had time to talk to the insurance adjuster. They did a good job. They worked with the insurance company. They honored the price that the insurance company quoted in the estimate. The roof itself is pretty good."

"Working with Legacy and the owner Mark Spencer was great. Mark explained the project in advance and it went as described without any major issues. We called Legacy in early January and signed the order January 10.. They just finished the last door and we are very pleased. This is a company a homeowner can trust. We believe the quality of the installation was very good. Each day the debris was removed and the yard cleaned up. That was important to us. We also felt Legacy went the extra mile and provided us with the details we needed and in some cases, didn't know we wanted or needed. Example, our back service door is somewhat hidden by a row of bushes. Mark recommended for security we place an outswing door there. No one can kick in an outswing door. We feel more secure. Mark was great to work with. There was never any sales pressure to buy. We had an idea of what we wanted to do, but Mark's input was very helpful. It took a little while but we got the look we wanted. We had wood windows and didn't want those again, but we were concerned that vinyl might not be appropriate. Legacy has their own window and we used that . The look is the best I've seen in a vinyl window and the triple pane glass has made our home very quiet inside. The sun doesn't blind us in the evening in our family room either. Big relief there. Our house is brick lower level and cedar second story. We didn't want vinyl siding and ended up going with Hardie siding. The new color really makes our home stand out and the look is excellent. Fresh, crisp, no more wood rot! We love it. Legacy also replaced 3 doors. Two service doors and a new front door. We went with Legacy's Provia Amish door line. This is a stained fiberglass door and it looks like real wood. Legacy threw in a multipoint locking system for the doors, looks great, very secure. We also had our old wood deck taken down and hauled away. We ended up with a new design that works better with my back yard. Legacy's carpenters were also great to work with. Each morning we would get a call telling us their ETA. We ended up having their whole company here at one time or another. Window and door installers were very clean. The finish, the details were all done well. The crew that did the siding and the paint people were also professional and courteous. Everybody took their shoes off when they came in. That was nice. We are very happy with the job. We recommend anyone considering a project to give Legacy a call. Good people."

"Their work is holding up well.  They matched my house perfectly.  It looks like it is freshly painted all the time.  It is a lifetime guarantee which has held up.  Before they came, they did major reconstruction work around some areas that we didn’t even know needed to be reconstructed.  They were very careful to check like window sills and the baseboards of the windows.  We had carpenter ants and so the windows had to be redone.  They fixed them.  They found the flaws in the construction and they fixed them.  They caulked and primed everything.  It was a very big job.  They were very nice guys and it was a good crew.  They were professional and they knew what they were doing.  The price was high but it was worth it.  If something comes up in the future, they will rectify it which is part of the deal."

"We contracted with Bee Window to install 19 second floor windows in our 100 year-old brick house. They also removed the front entryway that consisted of the original front door and two sidelights and replaced them with an energy efficient single integrated unit with much nicer looking glass than the originals had. They also reinstalled our wired doorbell into the new door unit. The process started about a week after we signed the contract when a measurement technician arrived to take measurements. Several weeks later we received stain color samples and signed-off on them. The office staff was very accommodating in delaying the install date several times when I felt it was too cold to remove our front entryway and replace it. The install of all 19 windows and the front entryway exceeded my expectations and was completed carefully and quickly in a single day. The install crew was friendly and knowledgeable and worked together as a team. One of the trailers that they brought on-site was a mobile metal fabricating shop that allowed them to cut and bend the metal exterior pieces to fit each window as needed. They installed new insulation around the windows and door unit and caulked all exterior and interior joints. At the conclusion of the install they cleaned up around the house and took away all the old windows and door pieces. Over the 40 years that we have lived in our 100 year-old home, we have worked with many, many tradesmen, everyone from larger outfits like Bee Window to smaller one-man operations. I’ve learned that there is almost always a successful outcome when there is a partnership between the homeowner and the tradesmen. I’ve learned to hire people with the experience and expertise for the job we needed done and then work with them to make it happen. I’ve found that when you hire carefully, communicate clearly, and treat tradesmen with respect you will get a superior result. Bee Window was not the most inexpensive choice, but they were the right choice for this project."
