"A neighbor had some work done by 7th State and I watched their progress, so I asked the neighbor for their contact. I had a small porch replaced by a screened porch. The original porch was wood and starting to dry rot, and was slippery in rain and snow. I met with Anthony in February for an estimate and to tell him what I wanted. The County permit process and requirements for improvement went on until September -- an 8 month wait. They required me to plant trees and shrubbery simply to replace something already there, OR pay a fee to not plant trees and shrubbery. Ashley in the office helped me through this and kept me advised of the progress toward getting it started. Work began on September 10, ended mid October. Each step had to be approved by the permit office. The workmanship and finished product are outstanding. Neighbors have complimented me on the improvement. Some workers worked up until 7:00pm to finish their part of the project. I would recommend this contractor to anybody."

They are very busy so we have a three-week wait after we signed the contract and when the work was scheduled to begin. Gerry, the owner is at the site everyday. Everyone was accommodating with. our schedule. We are very pleased with our new stamped concrete patio under our deck."

"Richard and his team did a great job. Richard came out promptly for a free estimate and offered options for repairing and replacing our driveway. We chose to pave over our old cement driveway with asphalt, a one-day job. Richard worked with the team all day, and they finished the job by late afternoon. They prepped the area, applied the asphalt, beveled edges and smoothed transitions to existing walkway, steps, and cement apron by the road. The driveway is smooth, neat, and looks great! Richard was very responsive and pleasant to work with. We recommend him and his company to others.

"After finding Tillerman Gardens online and requesting an estimate for substantial hardscape/landscape work on our newly renovated house, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Jesse, the owner, actually grew up in our neighborhood! On top of being a Takoma Park local, and an all around friendly, honest, business owner, we also came to learn that he does great work as well! His team completely transformed our hardscape areas, including installing a beautiful flagstone walkway and patio, a perfectly graded cement driveway, iron railings on our steps, and plants in a number of locations. On top of that, some of the work required some touch up and sealing and Jesse and his team have come out a couple of times later this spring to do that work unprompted. There's a little bit left, but I know they'll be around to finish it as they've taken care of us every step of the way. Even better, everything was done in budget. Look no further! "It went wonderfully. The workers were professional and nice. They cleaned my yard every day when they finished working. I had a crumbling retaining wall. But to get to the wall they had to take down an 100 foot vinyl fence. Besides that, my neighbors shed is 3 inches from my property line. They could not bring in any machinery. They dug everything by hand. I was amazed how well they worked together. It really was like an assembly line. They worked fast and good. It took them only 3 1/2 days to finish the project. I’m so glad I decided to use A Plus Exteriors. They get 5 stars from me."

The cleaning didn't come out as well as I thought but the grout is old and the technician showed me where it was weak and really recommended that I have it re-grouted. He's right and we will use them in the future.
