"Called Excalibur and a gentlemen came to inspect the damage. After about 1 1/2 hours' inspection, I was given the assessment of damage and costs to repair and replace damaged areas. We set an appointment and they came at the determined time. The crew worked all day to replace and repair areas on roof, as was written in the inspection report. All work was done in a timely fashion and they cleaned up after their work. Excalibur is a great company to work with and I feel very confident recommending them for any roof repair work.

"Bryan (the owner) came to my home within assigned time frame both for the estimates and actual installation. He and his crew were professional, polite, cleaned work areas, and careful of other areas of my home. Bryan was always available by phone/txt. His pricing is very fair, was accommodating and did extras for me at the last minute. All counters were demo'ed and installed in one day.
I was so impressed that I got an estimate for carpet/pad and hired Bryan for that too. (I did get estimates from other companies for granite and carpet) The carpet crew came moved all furniture from rooms, pulled old, installed the new carpet/padding, and replaced the furniture all in one day. My home has been updated, upgraded and wonderfully transformed! 
Another gratifying plus(?) as it was done, this transformation made me deep clean/declutter closets, corners, cabinets, shelving, etc. that I had on my to do list for lets just say a long time. So yes, a true transformation that has me smiling and proud.

"James Gallenberger has been a straight shooter from day one, he is easy to talk to, and will set you at ease with his construction experience (he actually has worked construction, not just a guy who got a license, passed a background check and has insurance). I had a very strange project that involved renovation of an existing 1930's building (turn a commercial 1930's building into multi unit residence, very complicated, per code and permitting). He has helped figure out the overall planning (especially framing) and is very transparent with cost vs. gain when it comes to the project, I would definitely recommend him and plan on using him again for future projects."

"I was in a bad relationship with my former landscaper who left our backyard a total nightmare. Multiple landscaping companies came out and ran the other way after seeing the mess our former landscaper created. We were a total mess! California Smartscape came in, and from the first meeting I just had a really good feeling about them. Jay and Jesse came in for the inital quote, and Leo was the project manager for the duration of our project. They were prompt, responsive, professional, and above all - KIND. Just really, REALLY good people. They got to work right away and completed everything in the time frame they gave us. Throughout the whole process, I was in the know of what area would be tackled next, what materials would be brought in, who would be working on what... each week the communication was clear on what would be done. They have this business down like a well oiled machine, and always answered any questions I had in a prompt manner. Leo had the best attitude coming into work. He is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and easy going... even when there were some unexpected challenges (left by my former landscaper). He was like a friggin' detective, figuring out our old plumbing/electric lines, and combing through our old plan to make sure our new yard would be perfect. WE LOVE LEO!! We're about a year in, and everything has held up perfectly. The guys installed a drip system for our plants, and we use less water now, but our trees are twice as tall as our neighbors who started their landscaping way before we did. Seriously, they have everything figured out to the tee. We're so thankful they decided to take us on despite the challenges... now we have so many neighbors asking who did our yard - I still can't believe they were able to turn the mess around into a perfect backyard getaway."

Mr. Dove didn't do the work.  It was two of his employees or subcontractors.  The installation of the wiring, ceiling fan and ceiling light went fine, but the drywall repair wasn't that good.  The texture they sprayed on the walls didn't even remotely match the existing wall texture, so their patch job was obvious.  Also, they didn't reconnect something in one of the outlets so only the top socket worked.  When I notified Mr. Dove, he came out the next day to fix it.  I was impressed by Mr. Dove's professionalism, and would hire him again provided he did the work.
