"Had to reschedule my original appointment due to their late arrival for the first scheduled time. The office admin was helpful in taking care of that. Once they did arrive on a later date, the work was done quickly, efficiently and of high-quality. I will consider them for an additional project in the future."

Customers say: Quality work

"JM did a fantastic job. About 13 years ago, while living at our previous residence: JM remodeled and modernized our full Kitchen, two full bathrooms and, after many tries by other contractors, he was able to stop a leak from our roof at no charge. About 10 years ago, at our current residence , JM remodeled and modernized our full kitchen and did a unique job of updating 4 large sliding closet doors. He removed the cheap inserts, and replaced them with 1/4” high quality plywood into the frames. He then, using wood molding, he made the face of the doors look like real wood doors. Doors were stained and look like expensive oak doors! JM comes up with excellent suggestions, alternatives, and expense saving ideas. We plan on relying on his expertise when we’re ready to upgrade our Patio. All the best to JM Group!"

"We hired Adrian and his team for a much-needed facelift of our front porch, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The entire process, from start to finish, demonstrated a truly meticulous approach to their craft across both projects. Adrian's team skillfully handled every aspect of the porch renovation. They successfully reserviced the floor, installed beautiful new molding, and applied fresh paint all around, which has completely transformed the curb appeal of our home. The quality of the finish on all elements is impeccable and clearly shows their high standards. In addition to the porch, Adrian also installed new windows in our basement area. This was a critical job that involved removing old rotted wood, carefully weather sealing the entire opening, and installing the necessary exterior capping. This detailed work ensures the windows are perfectly watertight, energy-efficient, and aesthetically pleasing from the exterior. What truly set Adrian and his team apart was their incredible professionalism and attention to the small details. Each day, they ensured the entire work area was left absolutely spotless, showing immense respect for our property and minimizing any disruption. We highly recommend Adrian for any home improvement project. Their dedication to quality, cleanliness, and exceptional results is outstanding."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Mountainside, NJ

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
