"OMG, WILL NEVER call another contractor for a bid in Window World's area of expertise! Last week, as I was coming home from vacation, in traffic near Chicago, I received a call wanting to schedule an install date. I agreed that the following Monday would be fine. Requested an expected arrival time. was told between 8 & 9 a.m. I HAD to leave at 9:45 a.m. and did so.No-one had arrived to start siding. I put it off to bad weather. Didn't arrive home until mid-afternoon Monday. I found my 3 story home stripped of the old steel & vinyl siding AND nearly completely clad in the new insulation! The man running the crew came to my door asking if there was somewhere safe he could leave their tools etc. I was able to give them half my garage. The crew arrived shortly after 7 am.Tues. Worked until 7 pm. NON-stop! Then on Wednesday LESS THAN 3 days from starting job!!!) This crew had COMPLETED the job & was cleaning up & reloading their truck! The field supervisor was dumbfounded! The head of the crew even taught him a couple of things about siding, to make the job better with NO extra cost to homeowner! THANK YOU ANGIE'S LIST! Not only did you save us thousands of dollars, but I got a top notch crew out of it! Those men on the crew were such hard-workers and so polite! I am thankful, Window World of East Peoria, was able to access and use this crew! Shoot, I'd hire the crew again if they did more than siding!"

When the person came to measure he also didn’t catch that I was having all my windows done except one. The windows look great. The response when I notified the co that one window was missed was very fast but added to my cost."

I had to have workers and sales representative come back out on a different day to complete the job. I also had to agree to loosing some warranties and guarantees of work holding up over time and/or fixing the initial leak issue unless I agreed to pay double the planned costs to complete the project.properly. The solution recommended to us seems to he helping so far, but isn't very asthectucaly pleasing on the our front porch of our home. Also workers posted out a trip hazard on out sidewalk due to land settlement and I even mentioned it to our sales representative. "Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

For such a big repair job, I carefully looked up the reviews and recommendations from Angie's list and talked to 3 contractors that have the highest ratings. AOM was one of the three. David, the owner of AOM, quickly came to our house, assessed the damage, explained to me what need to be done, showed great empathy to our loss and current situation (having to stay in hotel waiting to go back to our house), and put a very competitive bid (about 2/3 the bid of another contractor). We picked them and signed the contract. AOM uses Trello, a cloud-based project tracking system that software companies often use, to effectively and promptly communicate task description and updates to all workers and house owners. AOM workers are professional, hard working, and friendly. For such a big project, expectedly there were some hiccups and AOM had to juggle ours with their other on-going projects. David kindly explained to me various aspects of the repair work and promptly fixed any faults that we identified. I became to completely trust David's professional skill and that he would treat our house like his. Several nights and weekends David came to work late so that we could move back to normal life as soon as possible. In the end, we are very happy with our remodeled house. I sincerely recommend David and AOM for any house remodeling and restoration job."
