"L&J Exteriors and Remodeling replaced our tile roof, repaired and extended our back patio roof. We are extremely pleased with the services provided by L&J. Luis and Jacqueline were professional, courteous, maintained outstanding communication from day one until the final walk through, and adhered to the prices established in the contract. The crew arrived on time every day, was polite, and conducted a thorough clean up at the end of each day. Our roof looks fantastic! Thank you L&J! We highly recommend L&J Exteriors and Remodeling. "Many of our neighbors and friends have had roof leaks. Sometimes I would lie in bed at night trying to fall asleep wondering when we would have a leak and how much damage would occur inside our home when we did. Well, we decided to take action now rather than wait until we have a leak. I did lots of research and found a great company and product for our new roof. Tar paper is used by Robson as the underlayment for all our roofs here in Saddlebrooke. Tar paper dries out, cracks, and then leaks develop. Nails that hold the wood batten strips create holes in the tar paper and as the tar paper dries out, the nail holes create more leaks. A new underlayment product from APOC offers a 30-Year Warranty and does not contain any tar paper. It is called APOC Weather-Armor FT3. As the nails from the battens penetrate the Weather-Armor FT3, the Weather-Armor squeezes around each nail and seals it permanently. APOC Weather-Armor FT3 does not dry out and crack like tar paper. It stays soft and gooey inside. The special polymer is designed to seal the roof for 30 years. Unlike tar paper that is so easy to tear, I took a sample of Weather-Armor FT3 and tried with all my strength to rip it. Absolutely Impossible This stuff is really tough, sticky and gooey inside, and rip-proof. You can read more about Weather-Armor FT3 here, https://www.apoc.com/products/weather-armor-ft-fleece-top-roof-underlayment I found a great company in Arizona called Roof Solutions that specializes in using Weather-Armor FT3. They do not do tar paper roofs they only use Weather-Armor FT3 underlayment. They stand behind their work with a 10-year labor warranty. One of the other roofing companies that uses tar paper that gave us a quote offered a 2-year labor warranty. Ernesto Loreto is the owner of Roof Solutions. He is super-nice guy and gave me a really great price to re-do my entire roof. I am absolutely delighted with the results. The crew was very careful, attentive to details, and did a great job. Even though we thought we had no leaks, it turned out that they found 4 leaks in our 13 year old tar paper roof. They replaced all the rotted wood and repainted it to match our existing overhang. I think we dodged a bullet by having the new roof installed now before we had any leaks that penetrated into our home interior. If you are thinking about a new roof, or worried about when you might have a roof leak, we highly recommend Roof Solutions. They are insured, bonded and licensed in Arizona, and they are 5 Star rated on Home Advisor.com. We are really glad we had our new roof installed now before we developed any leaks. We certainly did not want all the stress associated with developing a roof leak in the middle of monsoon season Call Ernesto at Roof Solutions at 520-805-5502. You will be glad you did."

"Our main installer was Jesus, and he carefully explained each step of the work and then went over all the information we would need to know. We are very happy with all three items, saving electricity with the SolaTube as we no longer have to turn lights on during the day in our Master bath dressing area, we hope that the Solar attic fan is helping to keep the house cooler by exchanging the air in the attic when it gets hot. In our small home office we replaced an old skylight with new double glass skylight with a shade system and this has made a big difference in the office. Sunshine Experts, LLC did a great job for us and we are very happy to recommend them when anyone asks us about our experience."

"K&L Custom Roofing did a great job on our roof, it wasn't an easy job with alot of extra work needing to be done due to rotted wood and water damage throughout but they made excellent repairs and little adjustments here and there along the way at our request. K&L were very reasonable on their pricing and we came out of it with a beautiful new roof as well as some new friends. John and Tiffany Larson"

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"So far the work still looks beautiful, the ceiling looks almost like new. They were willing to come back and check several times to do the work when the snow was off the roof, they were polite, profession, and I would hire them again."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
