"There seems to be a disconnect between the people in the office (inspector and scheduling manager) and the workmen. <br />     On June 4, a seemingly qualified inspector visited the property and quickly assessed the pest problem to be carpenter ants and mice. He was very professional and suggested a yearly contract to tackle the pest problems. He quickly acknowledged and accepted the 5% Angie's List discount. The inspector arranged for workmen to come to the property on 06/12 (a week later) and told me it would take about 2 to 3 hours for treatment. They would spray and bait, return in two weeks for a follow up and again in the fall -- all for the one contracted price. I could pay for the services when the workmen arrived. <br />     On June 12, I took the day off from work and had the birds, fish and dog removed from the property. One workman arrived, saw the ant problem and a wasp nest. He treated for the ants inside and out for about 45 mins and told me he could not treat for the mice until the ant problem was under control. He also asked if the inspector suggested I have them remove the window sill to better get at the ant problem. He said they had a man that could do the carpentry without any problem. The inspector did not mention removing the window sill. The workman had nothing to sign and did not want payment. <br />     Later on June 12, I left two messages --no one returned my calls to confirm when the pets could return to the house and about a follow up for the mice. <br />      On June 13, I spoke to the inspector who was apologetic for the worker. The inspector said the worker should have treated for the mice. I also asked about the removal of the window sill and the inspector was perplexed. He said they may have had someone that did that work awhile ago; but they didn't offer that service now. He was surprised the workman did not have me sign anything or accept any payment. He had the scheduling manager speak to me about a return visit for the mice.  I spoke with the scheduling manager and set a return trip for June 17th for the mice.  The manager took my email to forward me the invoice, which I have not yet received. <br />     June 17, a workman arrived and treated for the mice.  Although I told the manager I would not be at the property, the workman called my cell phone and left a message that he waited for 20 mins.  This workman also mentioned raccoons!  Now I have to call the office again.  Why must this be so difficult? <br />     June 28, a workman arrived for a follow up to spray for the ants.  Thankfully, he called me before he sprayed since I was not notified of this return visit.  I had to reschedule to allow time for the tropical birds to be relocated. <br />      Communication needs improvement. <br />"
