He ended up not only installing the pump but replacing the inside pipes and then having to dig outside in mud to get rid of the tree roots and replace the outside drain. The job went from just installing a pump to digging out pre-existing drain pipes which no longer functioned correctly. He would not leave until it was perfect. Also the cost was extremely reasonable for all the unexpected work he had to do. He also came on short notice in order to make the repairs before a storm came.
